This game was the best thing I've ever played. You can all go on about COD vs Halo or whatever else you want, but this game was just beast. Heck, it's one of the only reasons I'm getting Kingdom Hearts for the 3DS: made by the same guy who made this, and he's putting Neku and the gang in KH, too. Wish they would make an official sequel though...

this game was probaby the best game i've ever played. the gameplay was great, the graphics were great. But what stood out the most was definitely the story and the soundtrack. the music was the best ive heard in a DS game. to me the story was incredible. it just grabs you and with so many characters that are so appealing and likable, you cant possibly not like this game. if you havent played this game yet, do yourself a favor and go out and find it. not one minute you would regret. (when the composer is taken over, most likely *avoids angry fangirls*) A different region in the world that the composer might deem.. well, whatever the term was for his/her wanting to get rid of it, like Shibuya. The only type of sequal I would NOT like is a direct sequal to the game, with the old characters involved in any way. Their story has ended.
its so cool near the end, when Shiki found out that she was Neku's entry fee, they had a really awkward moment right there, does that mean Neku fall for Shiki?

@KurohTan Whaaat? Thats completly wrong. Hanekoma is an Angel. Joshua is the Composer. If you have found/read all of the secret files youll know that Angels are way above the Reapers, and that the Composer can only tune into a small fraction of the Angels frequency.
@Rollthebuddah Although in retrospect I believe Joshua, I.E., the Composer, has more power over the game itself, and the Angels just sit there doing.... whatever it is they do. Obviously Mr. H's job is to watch over the game and make sure people and Reapers follow all the rules. So in actuality, Mr. H IS more powerful, but Joshua has more authority, so to speak. Especially since Mr. H is also a fallen Angel for teaching Sho how to make the Taboo Sigil.
@ShinyPokemonHunterDP By "Fallen Angel" You make him sound like Lucifer, Which if rather appropriate since he teaches Minamimoto to make the Sigil (I forgot that part). But, i cant believe Hanekoma would be Joshua's right hand man (Since Joshua can see almost everything that goes on), Other than that you are correct.

This game. God. I've played many a game in my day. I'm a Hardcore gamer. But this game. It is by far my favorite. The gameplay was amazing. But the story was something else. It was absolutely astounding. The characters had so much depth and color. This game will always hold a special place in my heart. This game.......... This game was so Zetta awesome!

When i first played finish the game i was like: " WUT!? WUT JUST HAPPEN!? IT ENDS JUST LIKE DAT!? DX AND WEIRD SONG DDX" coz i didn't understand much of the game at all ... For first time play it gets confusing T.T

tbh when I first heard this sond I thought "meh they just tacked it on, just to put some soul in the soundtrack, it's completely irrelevant" Then I remembered that this is my favorite game so I went on youtube listened to this song again and how the beauty of this song shines through and brightens up this once so wretched soul of mine.
I'm not gonna lie.. I cried during the credits. The scene with Joshua, and the credits, the music... It was too much for this factoring hectopascal's heart xD I always replay the last day just to hear Beat say "You ain't my partner anymore man. You're... my friend."
I regret ever thinking this game would suck. It's one of my definite favorites that I never get tired of playing. (DEMON RANKING, HERE I COME!!)

@theperre007 It is not depressing, it is very touching. This game is a complete masterpiece, and I would say it's one of my favorite DS games, and in the top 5 games across all systems (for me). This was literally the perfect song for the ending, and when I hear it, I suddenly remember the whole game, and the ending especially, very vividly. Favorite game by Squarenix.
@theperre007 It's not really depressing, that's a bit harsh for this game. It had it's moments that made me sad, but not really depressing. It was a touching game though. I think it's easy to relate to (in a very, very, VERY weird way). And you're right, the ending was great. I loved what the title says at the end "The World Begins With You", that just made me really happy. (Special ending was even awesomer.)
@XionVinco I believe that's referring to when they're a pair during the reaper's game. They have to stay together so that they can fight, and survive the game. So can't part with her.
I'll admit that I cried at the ending of the game. I started crying when the credits showed and the song started. My bro was like "Are you crying?" I was like "Tch! No! My eyes get really watery if I stare at the DS too long!...yeah..."
I love that everyone here not only likes the song, but loves the game. No hate? Guess it did something right. It's got to be one of, if not my real, favourite game.
It was a thrilling game filled with many interesting twist that were sometimes easy to see, but others were a little surprising. It was funny and entertaining. I got fairly close to each character in the game and grown to respect many of them. I even shed a few tears (actually I cried my eyes out) when my absolute favorite character died. This game is beautiful and touching and I've never been more pleased with an ending before. I was very excited, especially after the whole thing with Shiki.
"Drawn to life 2" has a ending song that makes you tear up also. And the ending is pretty deep.

When I finish a game and actually cry, it means its one of the best games I ever played. So, when I finished the game and saw the ending credits and listened to this song, I was crying so much! TWEWY is the best game ever!! :'')

tbh when I first heard this sond I thought "meh they just tacked it on, just to put some soul in the soundtrack, it's completely irrelevant" Then I remembered that this is my favorite game so I went on youtube listened to this song again and how the beauty of this song shines through and brightens up this once so wretched soul of mine.

I'm not gonna lie.. I cried during the credits. The scene with Joshua, and the credits, the music... It was too much for this factoring hectopascal's heart xD I always replay the last day just to hear Beat say "You ain't my partner anymore man. You're... my friend."
I regret ever thinking this game would suck. It's one of my definite favorites that I never get tired of playing. (DEMON RANKING, HERE I COME!!)

This game's emotion that it carries is depressing, nonetheless, good game, gay moral, depressing story, surprising but fitting ending.

@theperre007 It is not depressing, it is very touching. This game is a complete masterpiece, and I would say it's one of my favorite DS games, and in the top 5 games across all systems (for me). This was literally the perfect song for the ending, and when I hear it, I suddenly remember the whole game, and the ending especially, very vividly. Favorite game by Squarenix.

@theperre007 It's not really depressing, that's a bit harsh for this game. It had it's moments that made me sad, but not really depressing. It was a touching game though. I think it's easy to relate to (in a very, very, VERY weird way). And you're right, the ending was great. I loved what the title says at the end "The World Begins With You", that just made me really happy. (Special ending was even awesomer.)

@XionVinco I believe that's referring to when they're a pair during the reaper's game. They have to stay together so that they can fight, and survive the game. So can't part with her.

I'll admit that I cried at the ending of the game. I started crying when the credits showed and the song started. My bro was like "Are you crying?" I was like "Tch! No! My eyes get really watery if I stare at the DS too long!...yeah..."

It was a thrilling game filled with many interesting twist that were sometimes easy to see, but others were a little surprising. It was funny and entertaining. I got fairly close to each character in the game and grown to respect many of them. I even shed a few tears (actually I cried my eyes out) when my absolute favorite character died. This game is beautiful and touching and I've never been more pleased with an ending before. I was very excited, especially after the whole thing with Shiki.
