I love early music but wish more of the performances would include percussion like the one here. With percussion added the performances sound more complete for some reason.
this piece is wonderful...Vital energy from beginning to end. The ensemble is superb. Early instruments from Renaissance to Baroque have astoundingly rich and beautiful tones.

Yes, it's the "Marche pour la Cérémonie turque" from the orchestral suite "Le bourgeois gentilhombre" (1670)

same here! this will sound like i'm a drummer, which i'm not, but percussionists are a very under rated part early classical music.... bravo pedro!
