  • You spelled "beginning" wrong at the end of the video. lol But that was a badass sand rail session.

  • That guy is trying to be Duke Nukem!

  • I like that exhaust..Shoot those emissions straight up to the ozone..'MERICA!!!

  • @TheMetalzX <<< Drinkin' the Koolaid huh?

  • @tazztt1 Seriously though, did you Fab them yourself?

  • @TheMetalzX ... No. Factory built stainless steel 'Stinger' with a Supertrapp tip.

  • that thing is slow my mustang can smoke that turtle

  • @magicninja95 ... Wow! Is it the PINK and PURPLE one in your vid titled Gh that you're faux-driving in your little sisters bedroom? (btw, WHAT are you doing in your little sisters bedroom?)

  • Didn't read all the coments. Dont know if you still have the buggy. Looks to be running a little fat...re-jetting would make your car run better.

  • @Iriesushi ... It's fat, yes. I don't have jets, it's got CBP FI. I run 70psi fp to stay safe so I can drive the s**t out of it. This motor will last a looong time. Thanks!

  • Nice clean simple looking buggy.

Two questions, did you purchase the frame from the manufacturer, if so who was that and what model frame? Second with gas prices projected to hit $5 per gallon this summer I was considering building a rail for the street myself, just wanted something that was stingy on gas for weekend drives. With your buggy weighing in at around 900 lbs any idea what kind of mileage your getting, even with the 2180?

  • @Acavet1000 ... You are correct. This rail is bare bones. The Make is 'Sand Toy', Model 'Drag'(?). I get 22mpg when I behave, but I don't. (snicker) Seems a 1600cc with minimum carburetion would give the best mileage and would also be quite fun. Buy as much power as you can afford though.

  • "Now wasn't that fun" Hell no cause I just here and watched......LOL......... Man thats a awsome ride can't wait till the wife lets me buy another play pretty.........Keep on eating them not so fast cars up make them little boys cry LOL.......

  • @bigphil308 ... Ok... Wanna ride? Watch my other vid. Thanks!

  • Thts a sweet buggie i want one so bad from this vd nice launch to looks like youve dine tht once or twice

  • @1950dodgefan ... Former drag-racer, now I just play. Thanks!

  • gay

  • @dh4life100 <<< 'dickhead' for life #100 I presume?

  • I can respect an elderly man who wears belted denim shorts with a tucked in tee shirt.

  • @toblertwo ... Well son, if you would buya shirt and pants that FIT and pull them up from your knees to you waist (where they BELONG) and cover your ass so you don't look like you're advertising hoping to get som hot prison sex, then you too could look like me.

  • @tazztt1 i dont think he was making fun of you hahaha

  • running a little rich there buddy....

  • @evilsideracing ... 4 x 48mm throttle bodies, OS injectors, and 70psi fuel pressure on a 2180 bug, yeah... I think so.

  • why the fuck would you poke a camera

  • @jrodthegreat1 ... Because I can. Any other retarded questions?

  • is that a boxer engine?

  • @xjohnnyxriverra ... Super Bug.

  • @tazztt1 you every go to haspin acers?

  • @NHenry166 ... Know of Haspen well, but no... street only.

  • sweet buggy man hope you keep it for years to come shame I live in UK where this sort of thing is Ilegal on road

  • @COLINATORUK ... Yes I will, thank you. One does not age when driving a street rail. Wish you could have one too. Thanks!

  • @tazztt1 ...3:12 I recognize the dew. allways hard to bull shit the man when your sportin one of those...

  • @Tarten46 ... You mean the 'sand-rail hair'? lol

  • @tazztt1 rare? rare my ASS!

  • @TheMRWOODIE ... Are you high??? Who said anything about 'rare'? Explain, if you can.

  • when you said 'let's' I thought you meant we could come to not watch you have all the fun

  • @skudz24 ... You CAN! Watch my other vid. Thanks!

  • 0,40 я под сталом!!! бля ну только америкосы могут так сделать!!!!

а нахуя в нем труба как в пароходе???

  • Cool

  • Nice ride.

  • ooooo your cool you can rev the moter i can rev my feet to rumrum

  • @raptorboy151 ... Well (son), you really don't launch this hard from an idle now do you. pffft

  • @raptorboy151 hes just showin you calm down there big guy can ur feet move that fast? nope dont think so dont reply u could use a break from your feet revin'

  • omg i can beat that on my feet

  • @raptorboy151 ... COOL! Now post a vid of you doing it.

  • sorry skipped intro just looked like duel delorto carbs from my screen on phone . just killen tine

  • How much was this rail ?

  • @brandon1997bmx ... Build cost was 15k in 1985.

  • P.S. looks good

  • dude too much fuel lean it up might have bad needle seat just my 2cts

  • @markblucat ... Thanks, but fuel injection does not have needles or seats. Fuel pressure is being run in the 'safe' zone as I do not have an OBD or Wideband, and I redline regularly. To date I have never torched a motor.

  • its GTA SA in real life =OOOOOOOO

  • ABC12345765, u are a retard, mustangs are shit . My bro had a celica gts with 192hp and a 5.0 "stang" really did eat shit when all my bro had was aftermarket exhaust tip and beat the "stang"

  • "TAP TAP TAP".... lets go for a ride

  • 1:32- 1:42 now you see it, now you don't

  • to bad you cant do this in oregon :(

  • Da läuft ein Sack Muscheln besser...

  • When he take off, my eyes looks something like this O_O

  • Where do you buy the mods, online or in store, if online, where.

  • @MrAlec1112 ... Buggy Works Inc at 2600 State Road 37 S Martinsville, IN. Phone: 765- 342-0462

  • @tazztt1 thanks, but i live about 1000 miles away in florida, but if you know of any other sites that ship to florida, please tell me

  • @MrAlec1112 ... This company is one of the country's foremost authorities on DUB parts and building. They ship parts all over the world every day. giv'em a call. They'll be glad to help you. Google: Buggy Works Martinsville

  • @tazztt1 Thanks, i`ll give them a call.

  • thats what i call badass

i would like to know what modifications has that engine

  • @TAVODZ1 ... 2180cc stroker - CBP FI - cam - ign - heads - port

  • this is delightful is it a 1.8 stroked? ive got a 2002 audi with the 1.8t pushing 300 hp and 320 ft lbs to the awd system. either way im buying one of these in the next month or so grats on the build

  • @darkwatcherhero ... 2180cc stroker, thanks

  • My mustang=455hp...your peice of hillbilly shit=200hp! So my Stang will eat your shit for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Ahahahahahahahahahahah....oh and there are more mods to come on my Stang.

  • @ABC12345765 ... You'll need ALOT of mods to match the HTWR this rail has. Thanks for the view!

  • @ABC12345765 you see your pretty stupid. the horsepower to weight ratio for the raail is off the charts. its .22 hp per pound on the rail. and lets say the average weight on a stang is 2800? thats .16 hp per pound on your "Fixed Or Repaired Daily." think before you speek, plus torque is an issue. the rail may have 225 ft lbs. im sure you think you have 500 fl lbs. either way im sure you spin alot, soooo id have to say you have a 1 out of 6 chance on beating the rail. im betting on the rail.

  • @ABC12345765

LOL LOL, Like to see that shit happen.

and how much does your "stang" weigh compared to that buggy weighing 900pounds.

  • Oh my gosh....

  • I am very tempted to do this next summer... aaah

  • when you pulled away like that I got the biggest smile

  • I love all the retards that talk about lack of ground clearance when all you need to do is watch the damn video and see that thing thing will be sky high over fucking speed bumps. Nice Buggy man

  • @imonfireagain94 ... lol, more than about any car, so Idk wtf they're talking about, hahaha

  • @imonfireagain94 uhhmmmmm you sort of sound retarded because the point of ground clearance is to have it at all times so you never hit anything you drive over or so that when you do go off the jump cough cough speed bumb , when you land you don't bottom out and kill the underside of the buggy...

  • @ITzVIIci0us Listen here fuckstick. I referred to speed bumps because some guy before said that it would drag the underside over a speedbump, when if you look at the video it would clearly not come close

  • @imonfireagain94 doesn't change the fact that your comment was retarded and that the fact your making another one to respond doesn't help you either.

  • Ford Falcons have bugger all, about as much as one of your Police Ford Viceees, oops, I was not having a go at your dune buggy, I can see it is ideal for all you could want, we have a similar terrain in our outback but I am told we have nasty stones called 'Gibbers" which are not kind to tires, my last post ran out of characters,so cut it short,I mentioned chopped and channelled as of doubtfull value as they look like show cars only which are like a woman with plastic tits,TOTALLY USELESS.

  • Ok, I jumped about a bit bringing chopped and channeled stuff into the diatribe re stone chucking unfendered wheels [mudguards to us] so forget the bit about the lowered stuff [still not road practicable unless you have air jacker suspension for street use which would make it a true "go n Show" vehicle] The VeeWee thing looks like great fun and 50 years ago I toyed with the idea of building one but did not have the folding commodity to attempt it, make the most of of what you have got, good luck

  • @adoreslaurel ... Not practical? This rail has over 11" clearance (28cm). What's your 'road car' have?

  • To tazztt1,i hope you never have to tailgate any one driving without fenders or your prized paintwork or windshield will look like the sad outcome of an accident with a blender, are your regulations re safety that piss weak that you can register a dirt scoop without fenders[could not pass over a speed hump with 2 inch clearance, unfortunately I have seen some idiots driving over here with dirt scooper bodywork.]

  • @adoreslaurel ... No... Yes... and Wrong... I JUMP 'speed humps' for fun! Fyi... There IS treatment for paranoia you know. You should get you some. Thanks!

  • What redneck state of the USA allows ANYTHING to be considered road legal without fenders???

  • @adoreslaurel ... < Spoken like a true Aussie, imprisoned in a country where your government dictates what they think you 'should' have, and not what you 'want' to have. Sorry you =( don't have the same freedoms we do. =)

Envy is very unattractive mate. A new hobby would suit you well. Carry on.

  • @tazztt1 wow thats some pretty redneck-ass americano macho bullshit talk there budd u need to chill out.

  • @remustintoi ... Getting bitch-slapped with truth sucks doesn't it. Welcome to my channel!

  • wuwuuuu :-) like dat^^

  • wow, it goes!

  • you look like a cop

  • @jmecrg ... Shhhhhh !!!

  • @jmecrg I thought the same thing. Cop or military.

  • what frame is this?

  • @TheZackBond ...'Sand Toy'

  • Dude thats seriously a Beetle engine??? What year and what is the stock CC like 1995cc (technically a 2.0L ? or 2.2L). I am guessing it is air cooled? Using stock beetling transmission also or something else or just beefed up?

  • @EvanAxer ... Punched to 2180cc air cooled, heads, valves, cam, ign, CBP FI, header. 6 rib, HD clutch, CNC master and slave, low 1-2-3, stock 4th.

  • @tazztt1 Yes but what is the base engine that you built it from? Was the stock engine carburated or FI already and you just put a stand alone CBP FI? Are you running a distributor or crank sensor for the ignition ? and I guess your using a Beetle transmission but with lowered 1-2-3 gears (as you stated).

  • @EvanAxer ... Super-Bug / carb. HEI Dist.

  • @EvanAxer That's considered a drag racing motor. I have the same motor with out that fancy shit this guy put into.. and doesn't have the quad injection and that.

  • did you build the frame yourself? i was planning on making one of these using a crotch rocket engine and was wondering if you should get a genuine frame.

  • @IntScout3 ... Pre-fab frame called a 'Sand Toy'. The quality of a build is directly proportionate to the ability of a builder. Consider everything first, then decide.

  • @tazztt1 k thx

  • Nice beetle lol my chev would squash it

  • @hypercordz ... HAHAHAHAHA hahaha haha ha..... no.

  • Sand rails are so cool, I want one one day. Except it won't have one of these little motors in it... no no. LS1.

  • what's a porche snack?

  • @skirkland1980 ... It's a 'Por-s-che' who's 's' was eaten when being passed by a sand rail.

  • this is some mad max shit ;) very nice

  • @Robinmaatman ... MM, good one lol. Thx!

  • Weak

  • @NutStretcher ... Words of wisdom form the 'NutStretcher'? LMAO

  • @tazztt1 lol

  • dear santa.......

  • wow

  • with that little weight you don't need much power to get it going like a rocket (power to weight ratio), and from this video it seems like it goes like one as well. plus i bet its cheaper to run (fuel wise) then most cars on the road today (depending on how you drive it that is), that and the fun you can have in this. I have always wanted to own a street legal rail/buggy.

  • @madmax2069 ... 10-22 mpg, depending ;-P... Get yourself one, you'll LOVE it!

  • @madmax2069 did the math, power to weight ratio is close to that of a Bugatti Veyron

    sand rail = 444 HP/ton

    Veyron = 481 HP/ton

  • Awesome, and ppls who dont like this, i doubt they dont have this.....

  • Definatly...fk autocorrect.

  • Wow 10k?!! You defiantly got me interested...

  • @ author.... cant find my post so i really dont remember everything... you must have lots of time on ur hands to monitor all the posts congrats on however you make a living and still have time to do that.. Great gloves again btw lol.Dont take so much offense it doesnt matter that much. But I think 70mpgs is a huge stretch... never the less I was looking at videos of sand rails because I was considering putting together somthing and urs is way out of my budget atm so congrats it 's nice!

  • oh man.... how much does that cost? amazing

  • @23Edvinas ... 10k

  • how much you pay for that shit?

  • @nineinyatwice ... I don't have any shit, so I don't know what you're talking about, sorry.

  • now this buggy right here is BEAST! nice sand rail it cool dude

  • @xxFOXRACING10xx ... Thanks for the props!

  • aprox what is the top speed you can put out on one of these things? and what's the MPG on it? my dad and I were looking into buying one as a project and weekend ride.

  • @PS3andPCgamereviews ... This one... 105mph, 22 mpg. The common sand rail with 1600cc would be more like 70mph and 40+mpg.

  • @tazztt1 Very nice! Thanks for the reply. That 40+ mpg sounds pretty beastly for such a fun little ride.

  • @tazztt1 a geo metro has a 1000cc engine and only gets 45mpg highway so i would say most 1600ccs wont get 70mpg... I would guess its close to impossible unless you maybe have it turbocharged with some very high gears and an adjustable waste gate and injection for the turbo... in the real world 70mpg is more than just a stretch of the truth

  • @timothy1045 ... Your vast knowlege of the automotive industry as a whole, and blatant superiority to those that make claims of vehicles that they personally know intimately, is quite impressive... astounding! as a matter of fact.

What baffles us all is that given you have this profound understanding of the 'real world' and 'truth', you've not yet managed to grasp the concept of acronyms, i.e. 'mpG' = miles per GALLON.

You can say you're sorry now for calling me a liar.

  • how the hell is that street legal??

  • @MrVenomsk8ter ... Proper equipment, title and registration.

  • ''' We have, but you probably haven't ever heard of them, they're called 'Corvette', oh wait, 'Viper', no, 'Ford GT40' and 'SRT8 and 10'. Have I left any out? '''

You cant compare this cars with that shit buggy. Point.

  • @Skeiln ... READ,dummy... the question had nothing to do with this buggy

  • very nice. now you americans could try to build a car wich doesnt roll over at the first corner?

  • @TheThh ... We have, but you probably haven't ever heard of them, they're called 'Corvette', oh wait, 'Viper', no, 'Ford GT40' and 'SRT8 and 10'. Have I left any out?

  • @tazztt1 Yup, Fiero, Neon, Cavalier, most muscle cars, etc.

  • does it eat challenger for last night food?

  • @HamadHHAG ... *burrrp... uhhh

  • where you buy the exhaust pipe i making something like this

  • @sveteluka1 ... any vDub performance shop will have these

  • where you buy the exhaust pipe

  • Ok so i'm like 6' 2" and do you think i would fit it one?

  • @FuNnY360z ... Anyone can fit in any sand rail, it's a matter of where the foot controls are located. Most (like mine) are on an adjustable mount.

  • corvette, camaro, porsche are cars.

What is this? Do you call it "car"?

I call it a nice, very fast toy.

take a porsche, take off the body panels, the dashboard,

all the seats, and then measure its performances..

  • @blueoltremare73 ... Titled as a Dune Buggy, so yes, a 'car'. Take off allthe weight of the sports cars, then add an LS1 Corvette engine to my rail, etc... there'd be no end to that argument. Thanks for the props!

  • I love the Rail! It runs like a champ too! But could anyone tell me the body style or the company who makes the "Frame" or chassis of this sand rail? It's defiantly one if the cooler ones ive seen!

  • @TheSaucyNoodle ... Thanks. It's a 'Sand Toy' pre-fab frame. I don't think they make them anymore. There is another one for sale on Craglist though... Cragigslist - Indianapolis - Sand Rail.

  • for the street u should fit some fatter from tyres.

  • not a toy)))) клевая тачка)

  • lets see some hill climbing :)

  • 200 Hp + 900 lbs + open tube frame = ruddy good fun alright! Thanks for sharing mate.

(The odd few boring farts taking a silly swipe at the video on here are just dull twerps with a cabbage for a brain who probably haven't driven anything faster than a peddle car, or a Camry.) Cheers!

  • @SkylineGT10 < Most interesting and colorful comment ever, thanks for the props! You are right. some love it, some hate it.

  • i like the intro, "lets go for a ride"

  • muy buena maquina y tambien el ingenio de este hombre

  • @nachete6312 ...muchas gracias, eso es bonito de tu parte

  • @tagger956 ... read the comments, please

  • OK what is the top speed? That is a great looking ride.

  • @bkdmd ... 105, thanks.

  • He reminds me of the uncle from Napoleon dynamite

  • They say I need some Rogaine to put in my hair

Work it out at the gym to fit my underwear

Oakley makes the shades that transform a tool

You'd hate for the kids to think that you lost your cool

  • @kendigjl ... Well that was a big FAIL... do you suck at everything else too?

  • thats fucking fast nice rail man

  • I think its cool.

  • Wouldve been hilarious if someone came by and stole the camera while he was 1/4 mile down the road. haha

  • @2010ChallySRT8... HAHAHA... wrong on both counts (so says your sister), I LOVE my life. Sorry yours is not going this well. =(

I haven't seen any 'children' with a machine like this one. I HAVE however seen racers, professional athletes, celebrities, master mechanics, VDub enthusiasts, master fabricators, and a Neuro Sergeon that I know personally that owns one that will stomp the dog shit out of mine.

Enlighten me please! Post a vid of these 'children' with their 'childs toy'.

  • @2010ChallySRT8 ARE YOU FOR REAL!!!???

  • @nos87stang ... Good for YOU! Maybe you should frame them all and hang 'em on the wall so you can sit in your garage next to your car and admire them... alone. Meanwhile, I'll be pounding the pavement munching on the Mustangs that people actually drive.

BTW... You'd have to be making over 750hp (which you aren't) to match the HTWR my 'go cart' has. Even if were, you'd have to spray it to get it. My 4 cylinder VW makes it all the time w/o nitrous or FORCED induction. YOU be the BENCH RACER. =)
