@EhrichMattPatrick yes I used anime studio. Tip... trace an object (the handle) in a new layer, then frame by frame (right arrow) rotate and move the frame with the action. This video is a bit old now and I can see a few problems with it, but I was just playing around. There's a reflection too in this which is just a copy layer with more transparency - hope this helps if you're having a go. Please create a video response to show your results :)

you used anime studio??? ive been trying to make a lightsaber blade on that program for months now and i still dont know how to do it. any tips?
