[Review] SteelSeries Kinzu vs Razer DeathAdder 1/2

Deathadder is the worst mouse ever when i changed mouse from explorer 3.0 to razercoperhad and after to deathadder i lost 30 procent of skills on 5on5 cws. Before i could handel the pros but after i was lossing performance. I am gamer since 1997 and i can tell you deathadder is not good mouse use rather coperhead or diamondback. I have explorer 3.0 9000 ffps there is no mouse that can beat it with 400 dpi.

Kinzu is best than any other mouse in terms of quick aiming, and believe me I have never found anyone fan of Razer DA, best players love kinzu, xai and ikari. But they don't use kinzu a lot because its cheaper.

I bought the deathadder and I didn't like the palm grip feel at all so I returned it. I should had just bought the kinzu from the get go. I'm more used to mouse shapes like the kinzu.

btw if you're looking to get a new mouse. look at your old mouse first, then try to look for the same type of design because switching over from design you're not used to will take lots of time to get used to.

LOL steel series doesn't glide.... Try using a XAI on a 9HD, all the new mice need to wear the feet down abit before they glide smooth, let alone trying to glide amouse still tied up to it's cord. I agree Kinzu is not that good, but to say all the steel series mice doesn't glide very well is just false information.

Razer and steelseries are both very good products....but my personel opinion is: Razer is for show offs who want to show their setup on youtube; but steelseries is for legit pro's who care for in game performance and not on the looks ;D

i should also mention that the Deathadder's tracking is perfect in every way. 1000 hz, never skips, never negatively accelerates or positively accelerates when set properly. i really don't see a need for anything else really...this is coming from someone with a ~15 inch 180 turn sensitivity and owner of a 3.5G.

the DA is perfect for low sensitivity gamers. regardless of whether you have the new one or old one, for non-directinput games use 3/11 with 1800 dpi and for directinput you can get away with 6/11 and 1800 dpi.

i have smal hands, that is one reason i have kinzu, second is that im realy left handed but i use my right hand, but if i want to change it to left hand i could do that, third is that it is pretty cheap in comparison to other gaming mice, 4th is that i am a steelseries fan :P (Siberia headset qck mousepad and the kinzu ofc)

I own both of these mice. They are both flawed in my opinion. The Deathadder Has very slippy mousefeet - which make movements quicker, but reduce accuracy. It also weighs a lot more than the kinzu. The kinzu is has much grippier mousefeet, which give you more precision, But they really hurt your wrist if you are a very low sens player (like me) and play for any sort of extended period of time.

I would recommend Deathadder, for FPS gaming such as Counter Strike: Source/Zero, CoD: Modern Warfare 1/2 and CoD: Black Ops. The Deathadder mouse is really good at FPS because of the scroll wheel and not too many extra buttons, so you wont miss click. Deathadder is NOT slippery if you hold it correctly (many mode's are correct) You can hold the grib, and youre fingers doesnt hurt!.

Seems you just got a bad run of mouse, it depends on your grip, as the kinzu is designed for a claw grip whereas the deathadder is designed for the palm grip, totally different ways to use your mouse, you use the palm grip (which is much less precise than the claw grip, so people with the palm grip tend to use a lower DPI setting). If you're a competitive RTS gamer, you'd be much better off with a claw grip mouse such as the kinzu, due to its' superior engine.

its really funny that i came upon this vid, because i use a DA atm and i have kinda small hands. this makes the DA, which is a heavy mouse as well, kinda difficult to handle. i dont have enough moveability in my wrist. i am hoping that whenever i switch to the kinzu, i will have a swifter movement.

about the smoothness of the DA. the DA has good mousefeet. you can buy those teflon feet, so you can just stick those on your kinzu. also the kinzu is lighter, so it wont glide as much when pushed ;)

9hd/4dh are too small for low sens gamers. so i have to stay on qck heavy + intelli combo. the tracking with the kinzu on qck is awful. i`m not sure to buy the xai, because they have the same mousefeets like the kinzu. maybe the tracking is better, but the the mousefeets omg
