  • @hrtmarko Why did you remove a few of your comments? -_-

  • So that's all I am trying to say. Hrtmarko, I don't have a problem with you, man. And I know that some of what you're saying is true. I am not denying that. I have done the research as well. All I am asking for is the chance to show you that there are other methods that work. Feel free to checkout the videos I linked to, and feel free to stay tuned. But as for now, this is going to be the workout program I choose to do. It may not be for you, but it's always given me the best results. :)

  • By the way, guys. Some of what hrtmarko is saying is true. I'm not denying that. But when people think that it's their way or the highway, they need to realize that there are MULTIPLE ways to build muscle. If everyone was close minded about everything, we wouldn't have any of the inventions and new findings that we do today.

I guess we could call ourselves modern day explorers. We're seeing if it's possible to build muscle using non-traditional methods. Nick Husin was the 1st to do this w/ p90x

  • Taylor Lautner was on steroids, guys... Haha, What a joke.

  • Remind me to never post through my phone again. I'll fix this mess tom.

  • @hrtmarko Lol what happened?

  • @hrtmarko The reason I have failed is not because I have unrealistic goals... The reason I have failed is because I don't stick with it. As said in the video. Lol. :) Trust me, man.

  • @hrtmarko When you go from eating 4,000 calories a day, being able to curl 50 pounds, and then eating only 1,000 calories a day, and not working out for 2 months, it's really easy to lose a LOT of muscle fast. Trust me... I know from experience, dude.

  • @hrtmarko This comment completely trashed any credibility that you may have had. Continue to troll my videos. We'll see what happens when the 91 days is up.

  • I'm re-starting the p90 tomorrow as well, I always drop out after a month or two then ruin my body afterwards :/ this time i'm stickin it out... and I'm just sayin this so I won't look like an asshole if I don't haha:). Good look random person

  • @dasyck1 Hey man. Yeah. It's difficult to stick with sometimes. Things in life happen. But I always made my work schedule way more difficult than it had to be. Between writing 3000 words of content a day amongst doing other things, I never have fully been able to commit to the program. This time, I will just be keeping it simple. Sleep, workout, eat, and repeat.

  • @hrtmarko Finally, checkout the BEFORE and AFTER picture on the home page of my site: 91 Day Challenge. This was all with P90X dude. You can't deny the truth, man.

  • Finally, this is a life long journey. hrtmarko is righT. If you think you're going to go from skinny to Jersey Shore buff in 90 days, you're in for a rude awakening. This is a 90 day result that is much more realistic

By the way, this guy was working out 6 days a week as he said in the description of his video. My guess is that he was also doing the traditional P90X plan. He got damn good results though. Also, this is Nick:

  • By the way guys, I want to clear something up just so you are aware of this... You are going to gain weight, but NOT all of that weight is going to be lean muscle mass. So understand that this is a bulking program. You may gain 15 pounds of muscle, and 5 pounds of fat. In any case, that's a small price to pay. Just understand that all weight you gain will not be muscle.

  • For those of you reading the comments below, you need to understand that hrtmarko is right about one thing... The traditional P90X workout program and diet will not make you buff. If you adjust the program to your specific needs however, you can build a good amount of muscle with this program. Give me these next 91 days, and watch as the scale climbs. Yes. I will put on fat, but I will also put on muscle as well.

  • @professionalblogger In any case, hrtmarko, at least give me a chance to show you that this works. If after 90 days, I haven't built any muscle, then I will make a VIDEO saying you're right, and I am wrong.

  • Show me one person. Who is a bodybuilder that swears by p90x. Unless it's used for cardio. They don't exist man! You need to re-adjust your strategy's.

Phew ok my rants done, take my word or don't at the end of the day, YOU CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANNA DO!

  • @hrtmarko There is a BIG difference between a bodybuilder, and someone who is trying to put on muscle mass to look good. You already know that. But if you're interested, Nick Husin got amazing results with P90X.

My whole reason for doing this is to be non-traditional. I appreciate your comments because they will make me work that much harder.

  • You need a gym, adjustable dumbbells will NOT provide you with the adequate supply of training tools you need!

  • @hrtmarko Some people need a gym, and others do not. If your statement were true, built people wouldn't have existed pre-gym era.

  • As an ectomorph myself, trust me when I say I know what I'm talking about. I have changed my life from a really skinny guy. And no I don't have weight fluctuations I am constantly built. 10 pounds of muscle a year is a good goal. If you expect more than that, well my friend you will never reach a body that you are happy with.

This isn't something you sign up for, finish, and have an amazing body. This is your life now, for the rest of your life.

  • @hrtmarko I am glad to hear that you changed your life, but if you take a look at Taylor Lautner, you can clearly see that it's possible to build more than 10 pounds of muscle in any given year. Of course I am going to put on fat, as well. But to say that you can only build 10 pounds of muscle a year is a fallacy. Anthony Pitruzzello, PhD, came up with a potential achievable range of approximately 1.5 to 5 pounds of additional lean muscle per month, after researching scientific studies.

  • ok the p90x program is not going to help you if you're an ectomorph and want to build serious muscle. Dude the p90x program is so successful because it is a weight loss body toning program. Look at any before and after photo (granted they are shopped) but the guys don't have bigger biceps after, they just look leaner and less body fat therefore "appearing" to be bigger.

You as an ectomorph have to realize this program is not right for you. Look around the bodybuilding forums (ecto exercises)

  • @hrtmarko I have done my research, and I also know that the proof is in the pudding. I went from 135 pounds to 174 pounds with the P90X program in the past, and there is no reason one cannot gain more weight than that.
