After I posted my History of having "M" on a support web site, I was contacted by a sufferer in the Ukraine. She supported my theory with this being a fungus based organism. I was misdiagnosed as having psoriasis for over 15 years. I had all the symptoms of morgellons (only just heard about this in the last week by the way) but it was diagnosed last year as lichen planus.
I had a course of hydroxychloroquine and now I'm fine.

Morgellons is caused by two distinct phenomena taking place at the same time and why it's been so hard to figure out. They are molds and mildews and electrical fields. Micro organisms behave differently under chronic electrical exposure. The DNA changes. 1. Find and remove this electrical pollution and 2. remove mold exposure, think warm, dark, moldy, like in a public steam room.

I use to have Morgellons, I use to live in Florida Milton area. It was messed up, used all the parasitic medication that were available, it went away when I moved from my specific house elsewhere, havent had even the smallest simptom since then. I was misdiagnosed as having psoriasis for over 15 years. I had all the symptoms of morgellons (only just heard about this in the last week by the way) but it was diagnosed last year as lichen planus.
I had a course of hydroxychloroquine and now I'm fine.
I suggest that people with this ask their doctor about lichen planus. It might not be what you are suffering from but it's worth a try.

I had this and my case is well documented with pictures at the Mayo Clinic. I am cured of this BTW. Morgellons is caused by two distinct phenomena taking place at the same time and why it's been so hard to figure out. They are molds and mildews and electrical fields.
