  • If the jacksons wouldn't have split after victory tour, imagine to hear the jackson 5 singing BAD

  • I was at 5 of the Victory tours. This video may not be the best but I am grateful to you for uploading it, it is still a classic. I don't know how old some of you are but HBO had showed the first Victory in Kansas, I had taped it but don't know what happen to it. They use to show it all the time. But that first concert did not do the Jackson's justice, by the time he came to Fl. they had perfected it to the 'T'. No recording can ever do that concert justice. You just had to have been there.

  • its just silly... if the jacksons' had just accepted that michael was the 99 percent of the show he would have probably kept them on as his full time back up band and as they are a great and epic backup show for mj that would habe been good

  • MY AUNT WAS AT THIS CONCERT!! SHE SAID IT WAS WORTH IT EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS ON THE VERY LAST ROW!

  • @mjwc97 That's awesome, I wish I knew someone who went to one of his concerts! I actually have an aunt who met him when he was a little boy in Gary, before he was famous. She said he was so shy and quiet, would only speak when spoken to, but that his eyes had this amazing depth.

  • MY AUNT WAS AT THIS CONCERT!!

  • Personally I'm thankful for footage of whatever quality that doesn't have those stupid shots of fainting or gushing crowd members that stops me from really getting into the performance (yeah, Dangerous Tour Bucharest, I'm looking at you).

  • randy just seems to mess up little bit but alot. for everybodii is black and white while he wears red pants totally trying to stand out. hes standing out but not in a good way. but he was young.

  • the greatest singer in the shittest quality ever

  • aouuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I WAS THERE IN THE FIRST ROW. MAGNIFICENT. LOVE HIM. SHOULD HAVE JUMPED ON STAGE WITH HIM. WE HAVE SAME BIRTHDAY.

  • @stillinluv100 We really miss him.

  • @memyself2k

Guess we will never forget him. Wish press would stop negative news. He was too good for this world. They need to remember him for the joy he brought us. Still think he was SOOOOO SEXY AND FINE AS WINE.

  • HE MAKES ME SOO WET :P X LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Click liking my comment if you agree girl's :P X

  • Hahahahahaha!!!!! LMAO!!!! Me too Im in here cracking up, That comment just made me spit my juice out Lol!!!! "A blizzard" Hahahahaha!!!!

  • this shit so old at the beginnning that shit sounded like a blizzard LOL!

    king of pop forever

  • @mrLimaloui HAHAHAHAHA omg your comment had me rollin!!!!!!

  • there are video of lovely one victory tour, triumph type it in. twinkie

  • is there footage of them performing, Lovely One???

  • i love that old footage =D

  • such amazingly clean vocals!

  • Michael is amazing!!

  • To bad for you Yimina123 but Michael never had anorexia.

This is a very bad quality video. Even when it does happen that you do look skinny doesn't mean you don't eat!!! He had muscle in length that is something totally differed.........

  • NOBODY IS BETTER THAN MICHAEL

  • ok before people start attacking this comment... mj is my favourite artist he is absolutely brilliant in songwritting and performing... but take a look at how skinny he is here, u can see it in his legs... thats not just skinny thats anorexic i mean seriously!

  • @revmcrhim Lol ur wrong, its his build.

  • @revmcrhim he's naturally skinny people in the 70's and 80's in america werent fat as they are now.

  • @mrLimaloui

michael was slim slender and sleek, not skinny. He was however skinny when This Is It was being rehearsed. (not trying to argue, because i totally agree about ur statement in the 70's and 80's and how americans were built. They had nice figures.

  • @mrLimaloui That's so true, I think it's a western world problem, cause I'm from the Caribbean and in the early 80s, I thought MJ was really normal, now looking back at him, I think he is thin, but he was smaller during bad and of course during this is it, he was really anorexic looking.....I couldn't finish watching it cause I felt sad for him. RIP MJ

  • @dbastard1977 Ye ,he was very skinny, did you see him before the 2005 trial?, he was pretty big, if you watch him on stage with James Brown, you'll see, that trial almost killed him btw(dehydration).

  • @revmcrhim actually he is much bigger here than in the bad era and even then he didnt looked like someone who had anorexia, just thin he has always been a thin guy thats it

  • @revmcrhim he actually looked pretty built during the off the wall era as u can see in the triumph and destiny tours though.

  • I Need color correction, Sound improvements

  • 24 years old actually, because in 1987 he was 29...

    by the way...

    KING!!!!!

  • @radelgratereaux nah he wuz 25 or 26 becuz he wuz born august 1958. the victory tour started n da summer of 1984, so he hadn't turned 26 yet so he wuz 25 when da tour started.

  • @radelgratereaux yep so right

  • michael was 25 or 26, the sexiest years of his life

  • how old is Michael here?

  • mid 20's to early 30s

  • @toml71 hes about 25-26 i think

  • @toml71

Most likely he 25; however, if this show took place in After late August then he would have turn 26.

  • The Jackson Brothers have always done concerts with a twist to keep their audience excited about what was going to happen next; then Michael took it to a bigger level as a solo artist...very talented family!!! I wish I would have been at this concert!! I'm sure the fans who were there have great memories of this!!

  • What a way to open a show!

  • For those of you that dont know, where the footage is messed up, thats a spaceship landing on the stage and the brothers come out of it like aliens and take off their space suits. At that time this was unheard of and blowing peoples minds

  • Wow! Imagine If Michael Would've Done "Thriller Tour" :O

  • technically is tha Thriller Tour just with tha bros

  • @HardBoyzwrestling Yeah but, the point is, he didn't peform Thriller. And That would have been amazing performing Thriller with his brothers.

  • Actually he thought that thriller wouldnt have worked as a concert song. Thats the reason its not included, but Billie jean and Beat it are.

  • @RockyBalboa211 it work well on the bad in dangerous tour

  • Respond to this video... hes 25 years old here jeezzee

  • @iiloveyou1 I think that would have been his best tour ever!

  • @KeVinOuMJJFanTribute Yup; I Agree With You 100%

  • wheres Jackie? I see tito, jermaine, randy, marlon and Michael.

  • Jackie had injured his foot or leg and could not perform on the victory tour

  • What I'm seeing is MJ getting ready for his solo mode...

...starting to ease into a 'Bad' vibe.

I think he did this tour with his bro's because his Mother wanted him to.

  • who's the drummer?

  • MY GOD!!

  • I dont care if this is just michael with the brothers as support. its nice to see him up there with them. its always been about michael anyways. plus i love their outfits! as for the victory tour, there is some great clear footage used in the jacksons reality show. they really should release what they have, even if they dont have a full concerts worth.

  • @lovemj4life100 Agree

  • this iz just priceless luvvvvvv MJ ALWAYS!

  • so judging from the set list...

this was basically the Off the Wall/Thriller tour featuring the other Jackson brothers?

  • There was no Thriller tour

  • Michael wanted it that way.

  • no read his book..

he didnt want to tour with them

he wanted startin his solo tours

  • Of course.

  • @deliciousexquisite Basically, yes. They didn't sing even one song from the Victory album, which was weird. Marlon later said that Michael refused to rehearse or perform any of those songs. Michael wanted to name this tour "The Final Curtain" instead of "Victory". He was outvoted. Interesting and eerie, considering that Michael named his ill fated concerts "This is It" and referred to them as "the final curtain" 25 years later.

  • @Cathie8791 wow soo true what u said wow i got chills

  • @Cathie8791 By final curting do u mean as in that being his final concert with his bros?

  • @deliciousexquisite Lol His dad ran a guilt trip on him to make him do this tour in the first place tellin mike that he wouldnt even be famous without him so he had to do this tour.

  • @deliciousexquisite no.the jacksons and michael jackson came out with a new album call Victory

  • @TheTevinstar4ever well the Jacksons

  • @deliciousexquisite its victory tour

  • @deliciousexquisite well i think you're right probally michael had it set up like that so he could feature his songs since his albulm was already currently out and plus thet needed him mainly for the tour(since he is lead and the jackson on top at the time ) so why not.....

  • @deliciousexquisite pretty much so, although they did release an album entitled victory (go figure) no songs from that album were represented

  • @deliciousexquisite the other jacksons are just extras :P

  • @deliciousexquisite moreso the other jacksons than mike, mj didnt get enough stage time i hear

  • @deliciousexquisite prolly more like a thriller tour. The triumph tour and second leg of the destiny tour were more like the off the wall toure with some jacksons songs

  • video and audio quality at its worst .. but you just can't stop watching it cuz you kno its the jackson's♥

  • Wow this is cool. I'm guessing he continued to perform Startin' Somethin' the same way on the rest of his tours as a tribute to his brothers? Pretty neat!

  • i love you still MJ! i miss u! i will be finishing a book about you, written by taraborelli,The more i know you, the more i love u!

  • @wandongpie.. mike wrote his own damn book.. theres nothing u know about michael that everyone else dosent already know. Dont waste ur time

  • woahh thats a bit harsh,, she was only saying how much she loved him... is that such a crime?

I feel the same , the more i discover about Michael, the more i "get to know him" the deeper i fall in love with him <3 :)

  • Yeah, stfu and quit acting all high and mighty 'prettyboy" sounds like a name a fucking metro would use../

  • And I cant found no where this tour on DVD but there had to be a release anywhere.

I have read Sony has no rights on it but can anyone tell me where this tour is going to get.

And from where you got this footage?

  • @deadbyflatus As you can see, the quality of this footage is REALLY poor. I've read someone made a bootlegvideo of the videofeed of one of the Victory-concerts... I guess this is one of those copies.

  • Dang his voice sounds deep

  • His brothers told him not to do some moves

  • he is singing his heart out!!!!

  • the Jacksons shaking their booties together!!!!PRICELESS!!!!

  • MJ,s voice is at his best, his dancing improved later for Bad and Dangerous tours.

  • I know it must have suck using the regular cord mic man that would piss me off if I was MIc. Cause i like to dance an move around an spin. This tour should have been 10 times better.

  • Wat are u talking about they had regular cordless mic back then too. Check the footage for yourself, this tour didn't need to be 10x better because it was already as good as ever during that specific time period. This tour is went down in history as one of the largest ever. Better than most tour today even so were your going with your comments i don't know.

  • The Victory tour was great but the jacksons best tour was triumph come check out rock with you on my page

  • Great Quality!

  • luvvvvvv ittttttt!

  • Dang. That boy Marlon got moves too.

  • hell yeah he did. people love to talk sht about Marlon stealing all Michael's moves when he tried to do his own thing. but Michael actually said in his book that he studied Marlons dancing. its just that Michael was able to surpass Marlon eventually because he had such drive. Janet said Marlon taught her how to move too.

i hate when people, usually naive youngster mj fans, put down the other brothers. they were ALL talented, damn.

id like to see them try to do some of the moves they did :)

  • they were all talented, but its a known fact marlon has a tough time at first, but he did grow to be a great dancer.

  • Fo' show. Jermaine never got to really get his feet loose though. He was always behind a bass or something. Randy could move too. But some of his moves are kinda feminine. Where the F is Jacky? lol. He's trippin.

  • Jackie was rehabbing his knee when his now ex-wife crushed it with her car. She found him cheatin with Paula Abdul (Yes! THE Paula Abdul.).

  • @maxkil123 i read michael never liked her

  • amen! preach on

i went to see them in 1981 and marlon could always move as well sometimes better than michael......

    Gosh I miss those days!!!!!

  • really better than michael i dont think so

  • For all of you trying to find the Victory Tour. I have tragic news about it. I have signed a PETITION search, double researched, and scuffled, and scraped to find this tour. And look what bullshit has came down on me. Sony dose Not own All Legal rights to The tour. Nobody Knows who owns the right to the tour. So it will remainunreleased and bootleged. Sorry MJ FANS. But im still looking on what happed with the bad tour so dont worry. for now

  • i thought mj didnt want cameras at the victory tour...idk thats what i heard...but lemme know whats goin on w/ tha bad tour :) thank u!

  • I will try my absoulute hardest. i mean i wont die until i find out whats going on with these tours.

  • i mean i know i see these youtube posts but someone idk who told me he didnt want any cameras at the victory tour...but idk

  • That is sad news indeed, Mjforever. Probably the greatest entertainer of all time at his peak and no dvd. :(

Well, at least I was there to see it live so I have my memories.

  • Yea it is i was mad as hell when i herd that

  • @Mjforever6478

I think I read in Randy Taborelli's book that the brothers wanted to tape the show but Michael objected. As the tours progressed, Mivhael had cameras there recording and promised to share with the brothers but never did. Maybe his estate can find it and put it out. It would be a treasure for the J5 fans and generate funds not only for Michael's estate but for all the brothers as well,

  • Maybe

  • Comment removed

  • @SLET43

Yeah I read that too. I'd love to have the Victory tour on dvd.

  • @Mjforever6478 what about that Henry Vaccaro guy? He might own it , he got a lot of stuff from the jackson family because of that stupid debt problem they had...He just shows like 5 sec clips on his youtube page, but it's still worth a try asking him.... peace n love :) .. It would be such a good thing if the newer generations like from the 90's -00's like myself could see michael in the beginning <3

  • Who cares who called him the King of Pop he was eventually going to be called that anyways lol. He will always be KIng of POP no one even comes close.

  • MICHAEL JACKSON IS SIMPLY MICHAEL JACKSON.

the best! Wow amazing.. he always is surprising me

  • who cares who crowned him, to me he was is and always will be the king of music and dance.

  • Michael did not crown himself,

Elizabeth Taylor coined that phrase when she said, "In my opinion Michael Jackson is the King of Pop, Rock and Soul".

The King of Pop part stuck because of the press.

  • she refereed to him as king of entertainment

  • Another amazing performance by my favourite group...Luv u guys...RIP Michael..

  • he never crowned hisself king of pop dumbfucks

  • sure

  • awsome

  • wow, is there any other footage of this tour? I'm dying to see it.

  • lol i know this was the early 80's but what in the world does randy have on lmao,

  • I still miss Michael man and his jacket is soo sick i would wear that jacket, the glove, and the sunglasses.

  • omfg EPICCCCCC

  • I was there! Great memories!

    Sad days now...

  • OMG I WISH I WAS U!

  • I have never seen him for real

How is it like Mj on stage

  • Awesome and intoxicating.

  • I can tell you this. when i went to his concert in 88 i felt like i was at a rivival. it was magic to me. it was the most rememorable thing in my life. the whole feeling, the scene, magic.

  • Me too. It was awesome.

  • This was some great stuff Jacksons first class entertainment.

  • What they mean are the presentation and delivery and content of the song.s not to mention the memories they project...the older songs had more melody/countermelody and the tracks didn't overpower the vocals

  • I think the reason a lot of people say Michael Jackson fell off after 1984 is because his appearance changed so much and he constantly found himself in bizzare/unfortunate circumstances after 1984.

It also didn't seem right seeing Michael peform with punk-rock looking guys instead of his brothers on stage during the BAD and DANGEROUS tours. MIchael probably didn't like being associated with his overbearing, dictator-like father JOSEPH anymore after experiencing great solo success.

  • I agree, but I think Michael wanted his own band, his own style. I think that's why he changed it up in later years.

  • i like all michael jackson eras the jackson 5 the jacksons off the wall thriller bad and so on

  • @seeehorn Man, people who say that are trippin'. Michael's performances were always fly, with or without his brothers.

  • @CrimsonOkami Michael was the Jacksons. He performances got better without them.

  • I'm sorry to hear and there's not much I can do but hey thats life. For some reason the older generation never appreciates what goes on in the younger generation enough. It seems that we young people embrace the older generations much more and better than older do for the young. The older people has to realize that times changed and not everything will be a certain way forever.

  • I can respect your comments but you are off the mark..The Jacksons legacy is unparrelled. They went from being a producers medium to a self contained unit producing them selves...Listen to the Jacksons' Man of War and Show You the Way to Go..they donated to charities as well...their success as a group enabled Mike to do his thing

  • I know but Michael transcended far above after his tenure with his brothers. Pretty much The Jacksons were nothing much without Michael cause after Michael left, they pretty much faded away. The Jacksons didnt make Michael Jackson the king of pop even tho they helped propelled his career. But it's more like Michael Made them what they were. When Michael left, he didn't slow down soon after either. He kept rising at a higher level and people don't understand it.

  • b-spenn u rite. i wuz born inthe 70s and grew up in the 80s. Michael has and will always be my idol. Whoever wasnt living during that time missed out on something impeccable. kanye and lil wayne or whoever, chris brown, pleez.. to replace Michael, it will not happen in this lifetime. As far as youngfinest is concerned, i think ur too young to realize how great Michael was and will be even greater in death. when he was with his brothers he was great, and he was the best.

  • Listen michaeljackson1978 are u fuckin illiterate??. u didnt read how i was going on and on about how what he did after his brothers established a long lasting legacy? And u as well as many old people, never seem to embrace the latter part of his career, and overlook his contributions to the entire world. and it's sad and old school people are still stuck on his music in the 70's and 80's, and failed to understand his success in the 90's. Well guess what?he was crowned king of pop after his bros

  • Michael used music to reach out and unify the world which he couldn't do with his brothers. I'm only 19 and I'm watching all of his live performances from before I was born as well as his live performances in the 90'S. I'm embracing his music from throughout his whole career. why can't you and stop talking only bout the 70's and 80's? Would Michael have ever made a social conscious song like Man In The Mirror with his brothers or Earth Song? I dont think so.

  • They did what a lot of groups still can't do today...the 70/80s were important because there were no young groups doing it like them..The beauty of Mike is his work spans so long it inspiresevery generation...I think alot of the 90s work was good but those trials distracted his creativity.. His music will never die

  • Michael Jackson was the first African-American artist to crossover to MTV and have his videos played on that channel. That accomplishment alone is a legacy all by itself.

  • I know what you're saying and I'm not knocking the The Jackson at all as I love their music. But all i'm saying is that a persons Solo career will always overshadow and be praised over a group's career. I know one thing though, The Jacksons had that perfect chemistry and they were all so damn talented. They could do it all from playing instruments, to singing, to dancing, they were that good, and it's amazing cause they were so young.

  • ok, you being 19 explains EVERYTHING. 'nuff said. You weren't there to be able to understand the success Michael had with AND without his brothers. Watching concert footage and actually being alive to witness Michael's success are 2 different things. You seriously need to grow up. Michael was KOP way before he crowned himself KOP in the 90s. Trust.

  • I said Michael Jackson was crowned King of Pop after he released "Thriller" you idiot. That's in 1984. And he really established himself after the Bad tour in 1988. Where did you get the 90's from dude. I could've sworn I seen your comments on a Rick Ross video so I don't think you know much. And Michael NEVER EVER crowned himself KOP. Elizabeth Taylor crowned him KOP and everybody ran with it. That never came out of his mouth so you need to get your facts straight. And i'm only 19 shameful huh?

  • You are naive. Michael was fiercely competitive, an extremely smart businessman, and did not want to be just an entertainer, but a powerful force in the entertainment business. Liz Taylor has her own past and is very calculating as well. The TRUTH is that Michael and his longtime publicist Bob Jones came up with the KOP title. Liz was chosen to say it. Bob wrote her entire speech. That's what a publicist's JOB is, and Bob Jones did an extremely great job at getting the world to call MJ KOP.

  • that's quite intriguing. how do you know this?

  • mad that. seems so out of character for the lad but certainly you'd have to be that competitive to make it as far as mj did.

  • Elizabeth Taylor when she presented him with an award at the American Music Awards. She referred to him as the "King of Rock,Pop,and Soul."Later on,fans started calling him theKing of Pop,'after which the media picked up on that as well.they got jelous and made made that rumor and instead of''wacko jacko''they called michael jackson on the front page: ''the self proclaimed king of pop'' anyway how could that happen when when she said king of pop, rock, soul and not the kop? because it wasn't true.

  • Comment removed

  • so are you trying to say that Bob Jones called him the king of pop first?

  • @thekingofpopmj1234 Bob Jones came up with the KOP title when MJ became obsessed with his place in history and his legacy. Jones wrote Liz Taylor's speech. All she did was read it. I'm sure she completely believed in the title and all, but she did not come up with the title herself.

  • MiamiPush2theLimit : aren't you the one who said michael wrote her Liz Taylor's speech? and now you say jones wrote her speech. which one is it?

  • I never said Michael did. I always said Bob Jones, Michael's publicist, did.

  • oh, i thought you were talking about michael when you said ''has said many times he wrote Liz Taylor's speech''...then why do most MJ fans think liz taylor proclaimed him king of pop? lol

  • because she's the one who said those words at the American Music Awards.

  • Dude...No...wtf? Bob Jones Didnt come up with it. What book did you read if from? his book right? He wants to talke credit for all the good things that happened. He's the one that wrote "The man Behind the mask" after he was Fired! anyways...yeah ppl do so much BS after Mike stops contacting them.

    Tnx for your post though.

    L.O.V.E.

    Romi

  • Mj wasnt a white man so he cudnt WAIT for the white man anylonger to crown him coz they JUST WERNT GONA DO IT.... he waited coz he was a patient black man...... now ELVIS NEVER HAD TO WAIT TO BE CROWND BY THE WHITE MAN coz hes white himself. Liz taylor and his camp knew this so liz did it. and believe me the KOP title was WAY PAST DUE for MJ. MJ shudda been crownd during thriller. but thats wat ahpens if ur NOT white. MJ sufferd so MUCH RACISM and broke down so many barriers.

  • "Would Michael have ever made a social conscious song like Man In The Mirror with his brothers or Earth Song? I dont think so."

Yes he did actually. The best example is probably "Can You Feel It?" off the Jacksons Triumph album. One of my favorites. All about global peace and love.

  • Yeah but his songs later on had a much bigger impact like "We Are The World" which brought attention to AIDS in Africa. And the Earth Song was played every Earth Day. and Heal The World help unify the people to care for the world and it's children. I'm not knocking Michael's success with his brothers as his career with The Jacksons help get him started.

  • How many charities Michael contributed while with his brothers? Zero. And afterwards? 39 a world record by any artist. Why? Cause he was able to open his eyes to the world but wouldn't be able since his brothers would've been holding him back by not having that same vision as him. Whatever happened to the 90's and early 00's when his albums still soared through the roof because of real fans not being stuck in the past. I may be young but I know a hell of a lot more about Michael than you do.

  • bullshit. Michael always contributed to charities. For the Victory tour, he had a certain amount of tickets that he reserved for special needs children in whatever city they were performing in. That was his idea. Michael always gave back, so stop talking shit.

  • I love The Jacksons' music, but to say that Michael was the best with his brothers and not say his career was better afterwards, is foolish and blind. And for the record, Michael won 8 grammys in 1984 for Thriller. Guess what? his brothers had nothing to do with it. Here's another thing. Michael might get recognition for the noble peace prize because of his contributions to the world. It's not just because of music, but because he was a special human being whom stood out from all his brothers.

  • Thanks man.. It's obvious that people have their opinions and preferences, but the fact remains that everything Michael did was great. He started with the J5 and The Jacksons and made a big splash. People knew he was gonna be a star. Regardless of what people prefer, he is the King of Music. Whether he was with his brothers or solo. I enjoy everything he ever did From Who's loving you to Break of Dawn.. All around Greatness can't be denied no matter how anyone feels.

  • 110% agreed!
