Sad? I think it's a testament to the Salkinds' production techniques and dedication to quality, that they were able to pull this kind of quality off on a half hour childrens television series in 90/91. Consider that.
This show would've been on the air for 7 years, if the legal bullshit hadnt arrived and given all superboy fans a headache. It really, really got good starting with series 3. Those two last seasons deserve a good DVD release - now.
