Whether it was deliberate or not, you've misinterpreted my quote. I wrote that you Stoke fans were harking on about your former glories, just like you've done in your comment. My point was that let Vale fans enjoy watching this video; at present, we're diabolical, and we need some escapism. Ha. Stoke fans can't accuse us of anything, because you were ranting about your past glories when Vale were a league higher than Stoke, and you were getting beaten by the likes of Bristol Rovers at home.

Vale fans really are pathetic, all they keep banging on about is this match and that one where they beat Tottenham's reserves in the cup(1989 was it?).
How about look at where you currenly are, get behind your team instead of shouting abuse at them and singing about how much you hate Stoke every match (yes I've heard all about how Vale Park shows when Stoke have conceded to Chelsea or whatever).
Unless the fans get behind their team it'll be Blue Square Conference for you guys in 2 years.

Thankfully Stoke don't have to play on these crap excuses for pitches anymore, saying that looking back after all these years the open goal miss and the ball sticking in the mud is actually quite funny...
there'll be plenty of muddy pitches like this for Vale at the likes of Accrington, Aldershot and Dagenham next season though ;)

I am a vale fan i have respect for stoke fans to be honest! I love the derby days, passion and rivalry! Though as i said, i respect stoke fans they support there loacal team! It these people from north staffs thats support man u, chelsea, liverpool etc, who think they are better than vale or stoke for doing so! man, i miss the old derby days, they were brilliant. it's genuinely sad to see vale on the brink of relegation (as a stoke fan) i'd rather see crewe there. i want another derby asap, it'd bring back some of the old passion the potteries had for football.
