  • Would you get more lift with a 266sq foot BASE canopy?

  • @AkiThePirate I'm curious to see a ground launch with a base canopy...if you know anywhere to watch one let me know.

  • @riso2k44 /9134592 on vimeo.

  • 5 stars absolutelly :D

  • brian, one of these has got to be you right?

  • Actually, I'm not in this one. It is some of my Cali friends, on their first time out. I gave them some ideas about how to do it and they flew! I am in the other ground launch videos, though.

  • ah, i thought one of the more high performance canopies might be you. i have been wanting to learn how to do this.

  • It is a total blast. If you search youtube for "Speedflying" you will find a ton of good stuff. The one off the Eiger is a bit unsettling. Very gutsy...

  • I did build the white canopy with the black and blue stripes. It is a sweet wing called the Jedei.

  • cool vid!! can you use a round parachute

  • not that i no of round parachuttes were basicaly made to slow ur rate of desent not to push u forward

  • These are Jedei and Stiletto canopies, 120, 136 and 150. The loading varies from 1.3-1.6 lbs/sf

  • What canopy are you used? and Wing Loading? Thanks!

  • LOL Going back to the beginning of paragliding in 1986

  • In a way yes. But these are skydivers, using our skydiving canopies. I think that's pretty cool in itself. Downhill, baby!!
