is it not healthy to massage teh breast tissue of a woman. it can be damage by the pressures and strains of a massage. Since the majority of pectoral muscles are below breast tissue, it is difficult to efffectively work on those areas. For the buttocks massage on a woman, this is also difficult (but not impossible) because women usually have more fatty tissue on the outside of the thigh / glute area, where a buttocks massage focuses.

I'd love to get naked with you...but FYI...nude beaches in the US as well as naturalist clubs (nudist) allow people of ALL ages, from new borns to seniors. Being nude on the beach or at a club isn't sexual or "nasty" as some people believe.

Well, ahem, I was just kidding about the getting naked thing, but yes, each individual state will decide how strict they will be with that law. I personally think exposing your sexual organs, is sexual in itself. Like stripping or exhibition. I don't think it's shameful to cover those "private places". I think it's civilized. I don't know of any fully nude beaches here, but I know of plenty of topless beaches... I've actually had this conversation with my father (He's a cop) and nudity isn't illegal. It's primarily called public indecency which is only if someone complains or is offended by the behavior (the nudity itself is not what's illegal). Basically if no one complains then it is only if the officer deems it offensive that determines if it's illegal. At least here in Texas...

only a small sinus on carotid artery is sensitive to that, and reacts only after sustained excess pressure. untrained people won't go that deep anyway, and the video didn't show any questionable technique. so, go ahead and give away that gentle relaxing massage :)

Ok so i dont know if she's an instructor or what....but...anterior neck is a no no....it feels like your being strangled and it's very uncomfortable...even with a light touch.
also, dont work the sternum like that....IT IS A BONE for crying out loud....when you massage bone it hurts....
also be careful of when you're sweeping outward over thier shoulders because the head of the biceps muscle can be very very very very tender on people so even just light gliding strokes can be painful.
just be careful....and for those who feel they "Need" these videos because your school doesn't show you how to do this stuff...you best find a better massage therapy school because you're wasting your money.
Interesting how cautious the therapist must be to avoid exposing the client. I wonder if a client might be able to receive more thorough work, if she specified she was less concerned with modesty...?
What I was describing was the lateral edge of the pec major which runs from near the bottom of the sternum (not halfway down the sternum) to the armpit. All you have to do is use google images and search for pec major to see this and how it varies female to female. And it was only the portion at time 3:00 (for those that can read) where it isn't doing the pec much good, but rather more superficial effleurage on breast tissue.
jiri1005 is quite wrong about pectoralis anatomy. It is fan-shapped attaching from about halfway up the sternum to about half of the clavicle forming a fan by connecting in the armpit to the humerous. The breast is mostly directly on top of the pectoralis (until below the nipple), but even then the external oblique and serratus are underneath (even latissimus dorsi are on the extreme sides under the arm).
At 3:00, this isn't pec massage, it is breast massage. The pecs attach near the bottom of the sternum and angle up right toward the arm pit and are deep to the breast tissue. Not much pec muscle to the side of the breast. So doing light massage laterally across the upper breast isn't going to do much for the pecs. I am sure it is relaxing to have the breast tissue massage, there with the client's permission. Some nice techniques for upper breast massage.

only a small sinus on carotid artery is sensitive to that, and reacts only after sustained excess pressure. untrained people won't go that deep anyway, and the video didn't show any questionable technique. so, go ahead and give away that gentle relaxing massage :)

Baroreceptors in the human body detect the pressure of blood flowing through them, and can send messages to the central nervous system to increase or decrease total peripheral resistance and cardiac output.vigorous palpation of a carotid artery can cause severe bradycardia. Ok so i dont know if she's an instructor or what....but...anterior neck is a no no....it feels like your being strangled and it's very uncomfortable...even with a light touch.
also, dont work the sternum like that....IT IS A BONE for crying out loud....when you massage bone it hurts....
also be careful of when you're sweeping outward over thier shoulders because the head of the biceps muscle can be very very very very tender on people so even just light gliding strokes can be painful.

just be careful....and for those who feel they "Need" these videos because your school doesn't show you how to do this stuff...you best find a better massage therapy school because you're wasting your money.

Interesting how cautious the therapist must be to avoid exposing the client. I wonder if a client might be able to receive more thorough work, if she specified she was less concerned with modesty...?

What I was describing was the lateral edge of the pec major which runs from near the bottom of the sternum (not halfway down the sternum) to the armpit. All you have to do is use google images and search for pec major to see this and how it varies female to female. And it was only the portion at time 3:00 (for those that can read) where it isn't doing the pec much good, but rather more superficial effleurage on breast tissue.

jiri1005 is quite wrong about pectoralis anatomy. It is fan-shapped attaching from about halfway up the sternum to about half of the clavicle forming a fan by connecting in the armpit to the humerous. The breast is mostly directly on top of the pectoralis (until below the nipple), but even then the external oblique and serratus are underneath (even latissimus dorsi are on the extreme sides under the arm).

At 3:00, this isn't pec massage, it is breast massage. The pecs attach near the bottom of the sternum and angle up right toward the arm pit and are deep to the breast tissue. Not much pec muscle to the side of the breast. So doing light massage laterally across the upper breast isn't going to do much for the pecs. I am sure it is relaxing to have the breast tissue massage, there with the client's permission. Some nice techniques for upper breast massage.
