why dont you just get the thing hollowed out then slide the metal rod in place then leave the metal rod in for it to be straighter and more accurate

Hello Domenic,.i just completed my own dart gun,... i found it much easier and probably safer to split it down the middle with a knife and a hammer, then cut and sand out the things that make the chambers,then tape it backand for a dart, cut the tip of a old shoe lace off, (plastic intact) about an inch from the plastic cut it and fray that end so u have a feathery back to it then stick a sewing needle through the back end to the front and throught the plastic

hey man about how many feet do they go. before they start to arch to tha ground, and can it pierce skin goodlike if get a sharper needle at tha end?

i don't know if it pierces skin but it probably does.
