Ohhh, it's sad jajajaja, i don't wanna be mean, but, there's people that it's just too dramatic, "PJ is the soundtrack of my life", ass kissers, bla bla bla, music is music, PJ is ta great band, the best of 90's, PJ is not a religion and a soundtrack, and will never be (i'm a freakin fan, really). . . but they are tha best band of our time, thats the important thing, they are our best band, and they know it. PJ PJ PJ PJ PJ
@CountryHorse It's a fair point to make mate, but consider this. In life you get few things that keep you going, no matter what. Friends, family, maybe something else. But for a lot of people it's music, in many, many forms, styles or genres. If you catch a band or musician at the right time in life, they stick with you forever and you stick with them forever. Some of us don't have the luxury of family from the start so you find something to fill the gap. Like I did. And that's not a bad thing.
We were all so fucking lucky to have bands like Pearl Jam.We maybe the generation of a lost generation, but looking back,we were very much found thanks to great bands such as Pearl Jam.I mourn this current generation, best of luck everyone, there are few left to look up to anymore.
thank you for carrying me through the last 20 years. For being in my life when i needed it the most, to know someone felt like i did. Happy, sad, down trodden, in love, out of love. For showing me you can be yourself and make it through without letting the world or others drag you down. For making me dance like a mad man and cry like a child. And just for being the the greatest band I have ever heard in my whole life. Pearl Jam is my religion, friend, brother and conscience. :)
10 years back, with first Ten in my arms, I wasn`t aware what a constant they are going to be in my life. Just through everything... they keep me in balance. And the best of all: songs never fade, not a little bit.
Thank you PJ, for creating an oasis for rambling souls. You make world a better place, no matter how silly does that sound, for me it is true! :)
this song is brilliant, but then everything by Eddie is, and that extends to Pearl Jam, but Eddie is my favorite, especially solo! If I wasn't married, I'd have to become an EV stalker :) j/k
