In 1945, our civilization began. In 1969, we came in peace for all mankind. The history of the 20th Century is really interesting. I'm really sad that we can't be proud of the 21th Century.

The most impressed scenes that were very emotional to me is 1:04 where Great Britain is rebuilding their greatest empire. Today, it's gone..

I wholeheartingly agree with pdecrinis. As an American I still gain great inspiration from these stories of WWII. Now as I face some of my problems alone, I can only hope to inspire others too to stand strong even in the bleakest of hours. Churchill stood Britain's defiant in the face of the German tyranny even when adjacent countries fell into the hands of the enemies.

Little did they know that in the future the biggest threat to Britain would come from it's own treasonous Governments and 'misplaced power' from within, and they would be more effective at destroying the British State and it's way of life than the Nazis would ever want to be.

Certainly a courageous victory by the British people.

It's too bad that after all this sacrfice and bloodshed, Britain just ends up giving away it's country to immigrant foreigners from third world Islamic countries..

Many older Britains that fought in this war are ashamed at what has happened to their culture. Whites will be a minority soon in their own Britain. They are being replaced by veil-wearing Muslim women and Islamic fundamentalist men.

Truly tragic for once great Britain.

Well, that is what is happening to Britain right now. In 40 years, native Brits will be less than 50% of the population. In 100 years, it will be a mostly Islamic and black country.

I think the Nazis were awful and I'm glad the Brits and allies defeated them. But take a look at Britain right now compared to 30 or 40 years ago... the country is unrecognizable.

Unless immigration laws are changed, British people will be dying minorities in their own land and will cease to exist eventually.

Thanks! It makes me (an expatriate Brit born 1942) especially proud of my parents' generation who lived and fought through it all — and brings back a lot of memories of growing up amid the damage that was the aftermath of war on the "home front".

Indeed the british war efforts during their darkest hour is still inspirational for me when I face my personal problems. Churchill indeed was a genius, who came in the right time to stop the descent of the world into darkness and tyranny. Britain can be proud of its history in the 20th century.
