I think the Android market cannot be beaten by Apple, due to the open source system. I must admid, I'm not a big fan of iTunes. There is nothing i hate more... gives me shivers. Apple will never allow multi-tasking but for it's core processes. they closely guard it's performance and was the downfall of MS Mobile. I'm an iPhone user and I must say that its nice to finally see some actual competition for the iPhone(and 3 years later no less). This is the first android phone to impress me but at the same time I'm sure the next iPhone will also have something to offer.

Wow, that was really amazing, but I can do all that with my IPHONE, Its just a phone that does what the Iphone does, I have seen a TV commercial that shows a LG phone that has a projector, I don't know the quality of the projection but that its something that would catch my eye.

Why do you think they have products like Chrome, Chrome OS, Android? If Google wants to try and tap into another market, then they have every right to. very well put. I totally agree with you. My main concern is that AT&T sucks as a company. I had dropped calls, problems with my bill and the worst customer service of any provider. I switched to Verizon, gave up my beloved iPhone because no matter how good the phone is, if the network sucks, it doesn't matter.

I am in bed with Apple, as far as products go, but am to the point where if something comparable to the iPhone were to hit the market, I might actually say good bye..

I think the Android market cannot be beaten by Apple, due to the open source system. I must admid, I'm not a big fan of iTunes. There is nothing i hate more... gives me shivers. But I iPhone has always had better graphics and buying apps has always been worth it. I, myself have an G1, tried the Hero and I am for some reason not convinced by the Nexxus One. I think I have to (finally) give in to the fruit. -.-

Cause you know when the next iPhone comes out, everyone will drop what they got and jump in line. But competition is good for everyone. No one company should dominate.

Not sure about that, sure, apple will improve the iphone, but there is only so much you can do fighting the concept of android(and the likes). Iphone OS is something which is unlikely to survive in the long run and if so, it will end up being a part of a niche market in the mobile phone arena, pretty much the role macosx and apple products have in the pc market in general. They started a revolution, but others are catching up, bringing the same functions for less $, the reign of iphone is over.

great number of apps, but lets be honest there is a lot of shite in there. think of how many you use on yours. there a maximum of 130 of so apps if you take out the standard 3GS apple apps (IPOD etc).
It's not about quantity, it's about lifestyle and quality of the apps.
Nexus will be a competitor to the 3GS, it has a superior processor, more memory and it's OS is catching OSX very quickly.
It's not about slagging one of against the other. Apple of have done us a favour.

That's the great thing about having to of the worlds biggest companies competing in the Comms market. Apple will never allow multi-tasking but for it's core processes. they closely guard it's performance and was the downfall of MS Mobile. Apple's OS is looking tired (I'm a 3GS owner) and is falling behind the likes of Android.
3GS is a great phone but those Appleites who believe that Google and their phones will just go away are deluding themselves.

The only issue i have is that the 3g internet speed's kinda slow - couldnt get a good youtube quality unless if your in wifi. But i'll wait until the iphone 4g comes out. And there's no such thing as Iphone killer.

They should've made this phone available for Xmas cause the missed an mega sale oppty. If you like to throw money away or it ain't your money the buy and iphone. If you're using a blackberry for work toss it in the trash and pickup an android phone. This one looks very nice. Finally, if you want to write apps for executives develop for andriod cause it uses java. Iphone uses objective C which ain't free or portable. I really want this phone now. I've been drooling over the Samsung Moment with Sprint's brilliant Everything Data plan for months.... but I think I might take a chance and go with T-Mobile just to get this phone.
