  • if you give enemas with your child up on top of the table it will be a lot easier on you back how often do you give a high enema to him? my daughter got a good enema at least twice a month sometimes more. are you giving him more water now that he is older? he should probably be able to take about a quart i would think

  • it sucks

  • RUSSELL THE LOVE MUSCLE

  • you are suppose to use distilled water.

organic Coffee enema followed by a organic garlic enema work great.

  • thanks for your suggestions but I think I will stick with what works for him now. And here where I live tap water is just fine as long as you don't use a water softener.

  • seems like you are hanging the bag real high...we were told the it should only be about 18" to 2 feet above the patient's bottom. Perhaps part of his non compliance/cooperation is that the pressure is to high and is causing a lot of pain. But again, not sure what the people in Cin say about that.

  • when I don't hang it high enough the gravity bag doesn't work right. His non complience is only in the initial insertion of the cathater other than that he is complient.

  • @gfcfgal I agree, I have the same problem. after all, you can control the with the valve.

  • Good description!

    Thank You!!

Does the amount of solution vary by age/size of patient?

  • yes it sure does differ by the size of the patient. I kinda guessed what might work for my son's size based on the amounts that others were using that were his same weight.
