yes, the standing spot is hard, but not that hard as it seems to be. there is another problem... robot AI. It seems that AI have a bit of randomness and so this tactic works in like 60% of games, other 40% works as you said, first robot goes elsewhere. If i see that robot is going on bad place, i will simply restart the level, i think its still faster if you need only experience points
for decent money you can hit the boulder with bazooka just in first turn, this will kill two robots, then you can hit second boulder and take the coins. There will be only two robots left to deal with.

it is always off a bit and the first robot goes walking in the other direction. maybe its becoz im using 3 players instead of 1 like u?
but if im lucky and get the spot right, its an instant WIN

If you firs wait a turn, one of the robots gets closer. Then hit the boulder and there are 3 dead :)
