  • Ouch! =)

  • This video is awesome! I have to pay 12 dollars at the mall to get my eyebrows done with thread!

  • It hurts, i had my eyebrows done

  • ouch.

  • jajaja me encantaria ver esto pero en las bolas de un mino pa reirme bastante jajajajaja

  • VERY COOL! Wouldve like to hear about wht ur doing tho.

  • look like she was suckin sum **** ")

  • @IMTHEVINCE HECK YES!!!!!!!

  • does this hurt?

  • @IMTHEVINCE YES! it hurts like hell!!! :/

  • hi i started threading cause i had heard that waxing can give wrinkles but i found that threading caused my hair to become thicker i even tried using azulene oil i think this might be due to my technique any tips plz x

  • ну и морда у нее :))

  • does it go red afterwards?

  • @xxLickulMsMuzicxx depends on your skin i guess, cause I go red lol.

  • @SuckItLily Also, laser treatments are not at all guaranteed to be permanent (a quick Google of "laser hair removal effectiveness" tells you this), and it even depends on whay type of hair you have. And yeah, it's extremely expensive, especially when you have to have the cash for several sessions over time. Electrolysis--now that IS guaranteed to be permanent and each session is MUCH less expensive than laser treatments.

  • i can do that

  • i threaded for the first time today...

it took me more than 10 minutes. And my hair wasn't even that thick.

  • this hurt like fuck and i started to bleed.

  • fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • Ahh man when the thread touches the line of the lip it hurts like hell!

  • What I don't get is: There are laser procedures out there that remove hair PERMANENTLY. Sure, it's expensive for the few sessions it takes but all other methods you have to do for the rest of your fucking life. So they're much more expensive over all. Why don't all women (who need something done) just get it over with and never worry again??

  • @SuckItLily Because it's EXPENSIVE.

I don't think you know what you're saying. It's extremely pricey. So why do that when you can get thread for like a dollar (maybe less) that will last you some time.

  • @SuckItLily Because it's not guaranteed. Sometimes the hair DOES grow back. And its thousands of dollars pricey... which most people don't have laying around.

  • Oh yea, these no such thing as evolution. We didn't come from monkeys, or the other way around.

  • I do this myself on my upper lip (which u can't tell that I have hair. It's actually peachfuz) and my eyebrows. It hurts but not unbearably. U know what they say!! Beauty hurts!

  • Does the hair grow back thicker?

  • @animegirl2083 nope. it pulls the hair from the root.

  • Thats right girls SHAVE UR FCKIN MUSTACHES ! !

  • Damn it. I spent 30 minutes in the bathroom to thread my upper lips hair. But I gave up halfway cause it's too painful . :O

  • this hurts. never again.

  • @raunchydogfart

I did my upper lip 10 years ago and it was a "bitch" & I was in tears :( I never went back but now everyone seems to say that it was done incorrectly, ah, don't know if I want to take another chance.

  • I think the most dificult part is the eyebrown ... you could take off your eyelashes by accident xDD

  • Just got my brows threaded it went fine ! She asked if I wanted my lip done too guess I needed it lol I said ok. Hurt soooo much never again! Just eyebrows :)

  • I only do my eyebrows! This is so painful! I feel like they want to fall off >.< after just one hair! I dont understand why it hurts so much! I use tweezers all the time!!

  • holy shit she was too fast..lolzz

  • how the hell is this helpful

  • that tretmant is to long.....u cant do it by ur self, im sure

  • @MartyElnura i just did, and it went great ! all i needed was a little piece of thread c:

  • @MartyElnura lol yes u can...

  • Lol her mouth looked like she was giving a bj.

  • Fuck that

  • I got my eyebrows threaded so thin. Waiting for them to grow back still. Effing sucks.

  • @movementsofhumanbody I had to wait 2months for mines to grow back partially, so difficult

  • GOOOOODDDD!!!ELA NAO ESTA SENTIDOOO DOR??

    EU QUASE MORRIIIII

  • That'll be $20 please.

  • thumbs up ifu clicked this because of the funny picture lol

  • at first i thought the video was in super fast-forward...

  • Does the upper lip get bushier when it grows cause I would dis like it if it grows back....

  • @PS3crazypinoy206 No, it actually grows back less frequently you should notice a difference in about 2 to 3 months. =)

  • i had this done and it HURT LIKE SHIT! never again. eyebrows were fine. i will do that again but the upper lip DO NOT GO THERE

  • @raunchydogfart just had mine and with the right person, it was painless! its my second time, and the first time hurt like a bitch, second time she did it way better, you need to hold skin taut

  • @raunchydogfart it depends on the person who does it. the lady who did mine was very quick and worked in small areas at a time and it didnt hurt at all

  • can threading get rid of stubble does anyone know ?

    just wondering

  • She has the most perfect eyebrows. I get my eyebrows threaded and I love it. But ur lip?? That's gotta hurt! Lol

  • She has the most perfect eyebrows I've ever seen!!!!!! How do u make them like that??

  • i afrid tto much from threding cuze its so pain ful eve i remve my uper lips n 1 week lolz plz tel me anthr way??

  • I love threading but cant afford going to the salon so I bought a home threading kit at threaderonline com

  • does anyone knows how long this will last,,when i tread my eyebrows it usually takes 2 weeks foe the hair to grow bk how lonng will threading upperlip last?

  • thts look soo painful, made my skin crawl

  • THreading hurts like hell. x.x But i'll try again and again to completely remove my upper lips hair. :)

  • how on earth does this work?

  • she looks like the girl that does my eyebrows lol

  • @chambers2300 do you know her name???

  • @raxachauhan no i do sorry . but she is nice and wears color contacts (:

  • @chambers2300 same here. i'm assuming that most of the people in those salons are indian

  • @Feonalilly well theres two in there that are white so i wouldnt say most . but i am jealous of her eyebrows

  • I do this every month . the results are great . it does hurt the first few times but then u get used to it. the fantastic results always win me over though

  • Any technique you use for pulling your hair( wax, threading, Epilator) in start its so painful, but then your skin will get use to it, even you will enjoy it after few years, YES! i start threading my legs and face many years ago(i was in school and my friend from England teach me) , and after few months my skin was use to it and took less time...about 2 min for upper lips and 10 min for legs....now i can use epilator for my legs without any problem and pain, for face i still use thread.

  • АХАХАХАХАХАХАХАХА БЛЯ!!!!!

  • RIPPING hair out from the root is ALWAYS painful

  • i got it done once and it hurt really bad!! i'm not sure if it was just the person threading it or what...

  • @katiemarie1999 wy do pple say it hurts bad? it feels the EXACT same way as plucking your eyebrows with a tweezer! but threading is much much better

  • HOLY crap she was fast. I just started and I take almost a minute to get one hair out lol

  • Does it hurt by any chance ?

  • what type of cotton thread do you use? I tried using cotton thread used for sewing but the thread isn't as smooth and doesn't roll over each other smoothly

  • not sure about that cause once u shave fine hair away it does grow back darker & coarser

  • I must try this. : ) Never tried this before. I was too nervous.

  • I had mine done today and it wasn't has bad has i thought it was. And it feels much better then waxing it off. x

  • @NeferLuzNails from the roots

  • can someone please tell me if threading pulls hair from the root, or is it more like a razor affect?

  • Are there certain types of threads that work best for this?

  • i loveeee ur eyebrows.

  • it's quickly but it was too much pain for me, however i've tried by some of my friends and they were kind of scared before, and after they thought that i was kidding because of the pain.. and i've just bleached it.. i have just a sensitive skin that's all.. and my contour of my lips were bleeding.. so i don't advise for someone who's have a sensitive skin.. good luck !

  • I love her Eyebrows

  • Her eyebrows look like the eyebrows of the Goa actress ileana(: and ileana is Hellas beautiful! :D

  • her eyebrows look great

  • who thought of this????

  • What are the hairs like when they grow back?

  • ahh why do girls have to have so much of hair all over there body?! waxing arms& legs and getting eybrow and upper lip done! it hurts a lot!!

  • what the fuck is this shitt?

  • is it painful?

or is it just like threading your eyebrows?

  • @PlayRadioLupe more painful then eyebrows, but for me it wasn't really that painfull at all, maybe because i used to pluck the hairs of my upper lips with a tweezer, and THAT is pretty painfull, but if you can handle that pain, threading is nothing compared to tweezing in my opinion

  • Thats pretty cool.

  • i get my threading done for my uppet lip, you just get to get used to it and it doesnt hurt at alll really.

  • OUCH THAT HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTS.

  • this hurts so so so muchh.

  • is doing this okay? by like..will the hair grow back weird? like leg hair :/

  • does threading last less than waxing does?

  • It must be hurts!

  • Doesnt hurt if done properly. NOt as painful as it looks lol...

  • Arghhhh!! Just finished threading my own lip but it hurts like fuuuuuck!! It's a useful skill though. Works much faster than plucking. I need to find a way to numb the pain though @_@

  • @scraperindustry

    ALCOHOL

  • Do the numbing sprays help? Or is it not worth buying a 20 dollar bottle of it.

  • i do my eyebrows like that but im too scared to do my upper liip like that. that crap looks painful

  • @hexgirl2008 hey wats epicare??

  • I dont think i could do waxing or threading its looks like it hurts too much. I think i'll go with epicare bellabe, its doesnt hurt and it get the roots.

  • Threading isn't too bad - just make sure the skin is taut when they're working on it. When you're pulling hair out by the roots it's going to hurt, be it plucking, waxing or threading. Threading gets it over quickly and without risk of burning (wax).

I can't stress enough how important it is to have the skin tight, though. If it's not there is the risk that the thread will pinch, and break, the skin. If you do try threading, ask for a referral from someone who's had it done. 8)

  • For example - see how she's moving her tongue underneath the skin? That's to make it tight so the hair is easier to pull out (think of stretching out the pores) and to keep the skin from getting caught in the threads. I'm healing from my threading b/c I didn't hold my skin tight enough. 8( Lesson learned and advice passed along! 8)

  • eww so like if you shave it, you wud have stubble like a man or those little dots. lol....what if you wax or thread....?

  • For shaving, think of how your leg hair has changed from when you were a kiddo. Darker and thicker?

Waxing can burn and it does take off skin, but as long as you go over the area only once you should be fine.

Threading you have to remember to hold the skin taut so it doesn't get caught in the threads.

With any procedure - avoid lotions, especially scented, after the treatment. Stick with something like witch hazel or peroxide instead (newly opened pores + lotion = clogs / rash).

  • IT hurts.

  • Everyone is diffrent and all hair types/growths are diffrent too, so whatever best suits you, stick to it. I also find, especially with the brows, a combonation of threading and plucking can shape your brows nicely, making them appear clean, but not over-done.

  • So if you want your brows shaped, be specific, if you just want them cleaned, be very specific and tell them not to touch the shape, you just want the loose fine hairs gone. It's also good for chin and throat, but sometimes under poor light they don't grab everything so your neck has a faint darkness to it. Getting it done frequently helps to, the longer the hair, it is a tad painful, but weekly visits (depending on hair growth) will reduce pain.

  • Threading is painless, if done right and quickly. If it's also done right and over and over, hairs take longer to grow back. Ideal for sensitive skin, as waxing can sometimes leave your face feeling clogged. Getting the right person to do it also contributes to results so if you find one that does it right, keep em! As for eyebrows, some can go overboard and make your brows thinner, eventually thinning them out permantly or giving a sharp appearance so be clear to them about cleaning the brow.

  • Waxing does not hurt more than threading. I get my eyebrows threaded every two weeks, and i used to wax them, now in the mall i walk right past the waxing place because i like threading better.

Threading shapes your eyebrows however you want, mine have veryy nice arches because of it

Its greatt. it hurts unlike waxing. because your pulling hairs line by line. But I love it, it also lasts longer than waxing.

  • god im scared to thread! my mom and older sis get it done, but it is painful! i have alot of hair on my upperlip cuz im indian and some indian girls get hair on their upper lip more than others. grrrr i hate having hairs on my upper lip:(

  • ive done my eyebrows and seriously , after afew pulls you get use to it . i dont know how old you are but im thirteen so i definatly think you should give it a go (:

  • im thirteen too! lol. but idk i guess i should try but my eyebrows r pretty bushy so i think i should wax first and then try threading, maybe..i think ill wait for the Summer, but thx for ur advice!

  • talk bout bushy thx god i did my eyebrows>>lol

  • waxing pulls your skin and prematurely ages it so threading is probly a better option , waxing hurts just as much btw ha

  • i know waxing pulls ur skin but for the first time i think ill try that. i mean idk my mom and sis tell me waxing hurts less cuz u get it over with in a couple pulls but threading takes more time, esp. for me cuz i have more hair than them, lol

  • ok im gonna tel you something lol>>i got my upper lip threaded by mysself and its super clean but it looks weird all bare>>so idk>>

  • what do u mean BARE? i once used this product smooth away for my upper lip and it worked but was couldn't reach all the areas, it was kinda bare but not in a bad way. now its grown back, the hair i meen.

  • ooo yeah like it looks like a man when they shave their mustache but without the stubble and am scared to go to skool lol!!

  • Threading or tweezing?

    :(

  • I have threaded my eyebrows before, it is sore but you get used to it after some time.

  • how is she not flinching or tearing? i can barely hold tears in when my eyebrows r threaded... i cant imagine that....

  • This does hurt SO much worse than waxing!

  • geez she is fast!

    and it hurtsssssss

  • what hurts more? plucking or threading??? Also to help the pain i heard to rub ice to help numb your lip.

  • Threading will make the hairs lighter and thinner each time it grows back. So It might eventually stop growing when you do this every week or two :P

  • who shaves their upper lip?? its soo bad for women..

wth, within a couple of years or less you will be getting the 5 o'clock shadows which is NOT what you want :|

  • dats true

  • i do this way, but i hurts sooo much

    i have nothing to do..

i just do it like this way ;(

please, any other ways to do it?

and i dont want it to hurt!! xD

  • waxing is the easiest way and the least painful...it sting for like 2 seconds and than your done

  • try numbing wit ice hun>>hope this helps

  • i want to ask you what happened when you did it for the first time??did u think u look weird or too bare??

  • Geez man i just threaded my lip OMG OUCHHHHHHH....so freaking sore!!!

  • what are you doing?

  • I can't thread my own upper lip as the nose always gets on my way :-(

  • so if u thread it..it will grow back lighter..or darker..

  • T^T wahh it hurts when i do it

it feels like plucking but x10 worse

  • it will grow even thicker if you keep shaving yours!!

  • @C0RN3LLx I hate it when people say that, it's not true. It looks thicker because you are used to your new smooth appearance and some overlapping hairs. It will grow back the same.

  • @C0RN3LLx no i dont think thats true. it doesnt grown back darker or thicker or any of that. it just seems thicker but its newly grown hair that's coming in.

  • @C0RN3LLx

Shaving DOES NOT make your hair grow back thicker. This is an old wives tale. Shaving cuts the hair at an angle making if feel thiker as it grows back. Just as FYI ;) you can shave your whole face if you wanted to (DONT, you will do damage to the epidermal layer) but none the less, you wont look like an ape even after the hair grows back.

  • @C0RN3LLx That is false, and a common misconception. Shaving does NOT make your hair grow back thicker.

  • @Lym0re Shaving does not make your hair grow back thicker. Because the hair has been cut at the tip it appears to be thicker but in actual fact it is not.

  • @HomeTownChik Didn't I say it doesn't make it grow back thicker?

  • im thinking of getting it done ... how long does it take til the hair grows back

  • OMG!!!! this hurt so bad...

  • Hey my upper lips got really pale when i threaded it...as it was originally pale it looked funny on my rosy face...What should i do to make that skin colour on my upper lips the same as my rosy face? Will tanning it help?

  • the same crap happened to me lol>>im so sad

  • My best friend has this done and she said it hurt SO BAD, but this woman doesn't look in pain at all? Is it supposed to hurt?

  • persnALLY

the first time hrt like hell. after that it hurt less..it does sting...but..it doesnt lst very long..the whole process..

  • Yes it does hurt the first time, but not as bad. Truly it depends on the amount of hair, the length and the thickness of the hair that is being threaded. I can tell that this woman is no beginner and once you start getting it done, and then you get used to the pain and you barely even feel it. But like I said, maybe for your friend it hurt because the person who was doing it to her was not doing it right or your friend has Long, thick and too much hair, which hurts for the first time.

  • The pain goes away after youve done it after a few times = = , its like plucking just really fast HAHA , xD . Buts i prefer this rather than waxing and all that.

  • It probably helps to have your pours nice and open and maybe have your skin moisturized prior to threading. Maybe your friend didn't? I don't know, just guessing!

  • Well like all things, the first time hurts the most but over time you get used to it.

When I first started threading my upper lip, my eyes would water and I couldnt take the pain, now I just dont care, It doesnt bug me.

  • does threading irratate your skin or turn it red?

  • i dont think so.. i tried it and it didnt.. but everybody has diff. skin

  • kay, thnx

  • for me..it turns red fr little while.but it goes away after a few mins. its coz the hairs are being plucked out fast. so..yh..but it goes away.

  • Great video - how often should upper lip threading be done - generally speaking?

  • depends on your hair growth. Typically every 2 weeks. Some women come in weekly.
