WOW That's awesome! Maybe you could put a well in the middle area of the city... just an idea :) To me, it looked like a 'Gears of War' level where there was a statue with a fountain around it! Great Vid!
Yes, and the funny thing is, before they made a home here they had been part of several small terrain peices, for several different games. Never got used until now though :D
You can get it in a lot of different places, mainly craft stores. SOme places though like Micheals I believe, it is seasonal and you can only get it at Xmas time. Somewhere recently I saw a HUGE roll of it. Like 8" wide and several feet long. I cant recall where though.
After the new year is a great time to stock up on it as it goes on sale.
Always look around the nick nack stuff when you are shopping. Lots of good terrain stuff there.
that is very nice....but... where is all the rumble, sure there is it but u just putted little like when a house plows up there would be still part of the wall lot of rumble, i dont think they vanish...
1. If the ruins have been there for a very long time it is quite possible for the rubble to settle or spread out evenly. A lot of the road is covered and the door to the back building is blocked for example.
And 2 it just makes it easier to play on. Id like to model a table completely realistically but it wouldnt work. Its why we use stepped hills.
a realy awsome table :) great work!

Its the same as doing a base on a model. You paint the glue down, apply sand, then paint.

Two reasons:
Thanks for the comments all!
