I've personally got a 1972 chevelle ss with a 472BB 7.7 liter. my car weighs 3300 or 3200 with me in it and i weigh 205. stock that engine puts out around 450hp 530tq. ive got a 12 bolt rear with posi and 4:10. that R34 weighs like 3400 without anyone in it and AWD doesnt mean you will get off the line faster. in a straight line you will never beat a muscle. i'll give you tuner dudes the cornering any day of the week though.

I loved Fast and Furious until I saw this. I literally wished I had left and asked for a refund. Complete garbage movie. If you want F&F, look no further than the first installment. Fast and the furious is known for their huge technical inacuracies, such as bolts randomly flying out of the dash fom FAF1, and this muscle car somewho doing a 45 degree wheelie on street tires.  I just hope this race doesnt end in the muscle car winning, because that would just be too far out the window, might as well have a unicorn driving it if your going to make facts up at that level

Drivin a '55 Mercedes, never changed anything besides tyres and brakes. There are A LOT of far better cars then the american cars from 60-80, which were sure designed for eternity, but they never met the quality of some europe cars.

We also got a BMW from the 30s as well as a Mercedes from 33. I now a trader who collects these cards he has lots of these cards (bmw, mercedes, jaguar, porsche, VW Beetle (original). By that time Cars were manufactured in a simpler way which made them last longer.

OK - a RB26DETT is an ACTUAL racing engine. It was built for RACING. It can handle up to 500HP RELIABLY without any changes to the engine (pistons, cylinders, ect). It can handle (with mods) up to over 1,000 horsepower.

A chevelle engine is a giant overweight underenginered block of metal that was made to haul people to the store.

Also, a Skyline needs half the horsepower the chevelle needs because it is efficent, and AWD will PWN RWD on takeoff, and around corners.

2. A Chevy engine, lets say the LSX engines are extremely reliable and twin turbo version have been built to run over 1,000hp on pump gas. An over weight engine? LS engines are actually very lightweight. Why am I using the modern LSX engine? Because very few people are going to find an original 454 in good shape. Hell the movie car here has a GM crate 502. A 502, which when built, can support well over 1000hp. continued.....
