Pet Monkey in Congo

Why is it that everyone who see a leash yells "abuse"? A baby monkey is very hard to get away from it's mama, or the troop. A lone baby can be abandoned because food or water is scarce. A lone baby either dies or becomes prey, baby monkeys stand a less then 40% chance of survival in the wild. Look up "disable monkey" and see how little monkeys suffer after an attack. It's a slow painful death. I can't be sure, but, perhaps, this is a lucky monkey. It gets fed, water, and survives.

I would love a pet monkey.  I'd get it one of those little butler suits and I could train it to be my servent.

Then once I eventually get tired of it, I could eat it.
