Kabaeva was the best.. until 2001, when tchachina and bessonova took the crowd.

This routine is the same, that the one she did but, she used her 2007 rope music. She didnt make a change, just the music. Was "NEW". And that maillot.. MY GOD! she was sooo fat!

JessRSGVIDEOS , Old rhythmic gymnastic did not care about the weight and it was much more beaty and grace then it is now. Skinny girls in leotards doing boring routnies. ( I am not saying they suck, just they have getting bad ).

well, i see that you even haven`t seen Tchachinas Q apurates, she made a lot of mistakes too! Maby you`re right about bessonovas, Zhukovas and tchachinas choreography, but Kabaevas difficulty and artistic was much higher that they were. this shows why alina was 1st

Viner just new that Kabaeva will retired after this WC,(this was Kanaevas 2nd year and she new that after Kabaeva will be Kanaeva), even now Kopranova went to WC Mie 2009, even after olympics(that`s why she did only one apurate)

4) If we started talk about Athens 2004, how about with Bessonovas, Zhukovas back, it`s not so flexible like Kabaevas

7)Kanaeva even could`t get to the finals, because, she did only one apurate

I'm sorry but you'e offending. I do not consider Kabaeva's routines as "ugly or disastrous". I also can not agree with some facts in RG, but actually I can't say a WORD about judges because I don't know the whole book with code of points, where some elements are more valuable thatn others.

why are you critising Kabaeva so much, in Kanaevas ribbon(WC Patras Q) were mistakes too, like 0:27 and also 1:27, and those were huge mistakes for the competition like this was, but Kabaevas Q ribbon was much better (without such big mistakes) and that`s why she deserved bronze, not your sweet Kanaeva!

Desgraciadamente, como ocurre en todos los ámbitos, hasta a nivel profesional en deportes hay corrupción. Hoy, por ejemplo, se critica mucho a Kapranova, porque se equivoca en sus rutinas, seguido pierde elementos, y sigue posicionada en los primeros lugares. La nueva generación de gimnastas tiene mucho trabajo, difícil, pero no imposible. Las búlgas y Bielorusas están muy fuertes y vienen mostrando la técnica de sus escuelas, que ha sido de las mejores.

Pues los resultados no demuestran lo mismo...superar la tecnica de Risenson ya es dificil de por si, y mas teniendo en cuenta que esta amparada por la mano de Irina Viner...el echo de que sea una gimnasta clasica,una gimnasta con herencia del estilo de los 90 (Vitrichenko,Alexandrova...)no hace que sea de menor calidad.Pues menudo aburrimiento si todas fueran azeríes contorsionistas...

estoy de acuerdo con charles, kanaeva es la única rival de bessonova en beijing, sessina y kapranova tienen la tecnica pero no la elegancia ni el nivel de interpretación de Anna. Kabaeva ni nombrarla si se hubiera retirado en el 2004 con su oro regalado no sometería a sus fans a sufrir la verguenza ajena que causan videos como este, como todo en la vida tiene un fin y esta mujer hace mucho que no lo acepta, o tiene un ego ciego o no tiene dignidad.

Almudena no presento en absoluto rutinas probres en Pekin,es mas,se adapto al codigo sobriamente.El hecho de que no sobrecargue los ejercicios como rusas o azerbayanas,entre otras,no significa que carezca de tecnica,y muchisimo menos de ejecucion...por algo que por encima de Rizenson,no?

Kabaeva made a big mistake....

She could easily can be the first russian instead of kapra and sessina at Patras... She was quite nice and good the year before the world championship..

She did nothing.. She disappoint me a lot... Because if she was a little more Sirius and careful about her trainings she would be very high... As she did with AA ribbon... She was absolutely perfect... But at finals she made mistakes...

she was better when she was younger because she had the flexibility. i think now her bones are getting harder...and she's gained a little weight.

she was better when she was younger because she had the body lines, now that she is older, she doesn't have it as much. Even early on when Alina was little, she has always had a weight problem, but she can't be really any smaller because she isn't built that way, and also she is older now, and she isn't the little 15 yr old we saw back then. I don't think Alina will ever really lose her flexibility because she is "naturally" flexible, and she's been like that since she was 3.

It's actually the other rhythymic gymnasts that have to keep up there flexibility more because some of them aren't naturally like that. Alina could possibly go about a week without stretching and be fine when she does it again, while others can't go that long without stretching because they will lose it faster, and then they have to start almost all over.
