I'm tihnk the most important thing about this move's not to fear too much and jump as high you can because you if don't do that you will not be able to learn perfectly on your feet. The more height you have the more time you can just locate the ground. I'm learning this right now and jump as high and tuck hard. Just practice..
I find it disgusting that you can do it in the first place. Only one person in my group has ever landed it and he can't land it anymore because he landed it first try and there's that stupid rule where if you land something first try you will never land it again.
i broke my collourbone so i couldnt do anything for 6 weeks n i just tryed my fron tuck 2night to see if i still had it n i got my standing front tuck also
if you got a trampoline try jumping max height and doing a front and tucking aswell...
then eventually try it on ground and jump high and tuck but don't actually flip... if you can jump high tuck and then un-tuck easily in a 1second gap you will be able to do it.
just jump up and bring your head down with your arms ;)
yep.. otherwise your chest would stop your knees.. but when you keep them apart they can touch your shoulders or even be aside of them.. that's definitely a tighter tuck ;P
@ninjasixsixsix i beg to differ backflips take less skill but are a hell of a lot scarier than fronts, ive neer done a back outside of the foam, but i do standing fronts all the time
see you all. THATS a a standing front tuck using something called JAP. its also the way i make the tuck. thanx nopacnone :)- and 5stars to you. you did it very well
so you swing your arms way before you flp or jump

Cool! You do not jump very high, but it works. you seem to stand still in the air, flipping.
82VickyLou 3 years ago
you r good but u should try to keep yur legs together when u r spinning
qtpiegirl1 3 years ago

I am not the one that did the video, but I do gymnastics and you can be sure that standing back tuck are much easier than standing front ones.

this technique was developed by the Russian Gymnastics Team and is known as the Russian lift, since you will feel a lift if done correctly
