The front feeble slow motion? That's what we call a "ramp slow mo" It's done using the time remap feature in Adobe After Effects.

that was filmed with a panasonic DVC30 with the stock microphone. That's just how it sounds. Most skateboard filmers prefer the gritty/crunchy sound the Sony VX1000 records over what the Panasonic DVC30 gets. But to each their own.
