first you need to be an officer second you do not choose what plane you fly you can recomend one but you don't get the final say

Well, what you do is get in the top 1% of your high school work your ass off apply to five different schools, USAF Academy, West Point, Annapolis, Merchent Mariner, and one other I forgot. Work your ass off in those schools too because if you are #1 in flight school you choose your plane i.e. F-22. Oh yeah, if you graduate from any of those schools, you come in the USAF as an officer.
