God, how I remember Larry teasing us for HOURS with this song, Do do do do DO do, all night, till you were positively foaming at the mouth to hear played in full. He was such a genius at the art of the tease. Seemed like every week he had some new fierce record to introduce to us. Life was something special...special. :)
'Cause I wasn't raised up in the Garage, I'll gladly accept the comments below. But I feel as qualified as anyone to compliment the high artistic quality of the singing on side A. But, a question: did this "Lace" comprise the same singers as "Shades of Lace," who hit a few years later with the catchy but IMO inferior "My Love Is Deep?" Thanx in advance,
@virgoboy45 .been to alot of clubs before and after the Garage, but NOTHING was better than being in a serious trance to this kind of groove under those giant mirror balls and fans in the middle of 3000 people on a Saturday night.......and the SOUND that you actually FELT along with the entire crowd that moved as one ! UNWORLDLY......these kids today will never know.......so special..........CAN"T PLAY AROUND>>>I'M SERIOUS !!
I wish I had been there at Paradice Garage NYC! but I did get to rave to the MAW version in the early nineties at the MOS which was also very special... Now off to search for the vocal, for complete satisfaction. x
Just what are those shivers when that vocal drops?

This makes one curious..is there more.
Great instrumental. That was how it was back in the days, hearing this music. Played by humans.
This sticks in your head, great baseline, filled up perfect.
