a little bit but not really, no more than riding rails in a snow park..most people use an old board on the plastic just to avoid wear on their current ride.. the plus is you don't get core deep gauges from odd rocks you don't expect!

Everyone who has the debate about frontside and backside board, this was a frontside board. It is because of the way you approach the rail, if your FRONT is facing the rail when you take off, it is FRONTside. The only exception is in lip slides, that way if your FRONT is facing the rail and you bring your tail over the rail for a lipslide, you will be facing forwards, therefore: Front Lip. Same for backside. The way you slide doesnt decide frontside or baclside. Thank you.

haha! its dendix - its pretty hard getting hold of it in small sections as the people who buy it from the producer generally order in bulk to lay out on a whole hill. if your in the uk there should be a dryslope to go shred at near you, i dunno how big they are over in the us but i hear theyre on the rise. if a slope near you is having renovations though and laying a load of new stuff you can normally find a few of the old matts lying about
