  • This is one of my favorite classical piano compositions. It is like an immense tone poem. Your interpretation is lovely and artistically sensitive. Thanks for posting.

  • Genius!

  • Bravo, bravo, bravo.

  • Thank you very much for sharing this. Your interpretation is inspiring me and encouraging to choose a tempo and interpretation I myself want, and not to play how all play just because all do like this...

I can hear that you really, really listen to the music, this is rare I think...

    Well done

  • Remarkable! Splendid :)

I found it interesting as you, unlike most of other performers, decided to make certain chords softer, which turned to have a noticeable impact of the interpretation.

Enjoyable. And I may say I'm quite disappointed that i hadn't found this video earlier than just now..

  • 3:50 awesome

  • i love chopin

  • Bravo.

  • Definitely the best performance EVER! Maybe only Chopin could have played it better...

  • I thought I've had made my mind up, about the best f minor Ballade performances ever, but I have to change my list, now I've heard this intensely moving performance. Chapeau!

  • nice interpretations.

  • Very good performance!

  • wow, bravo!

  • Bravo! Complimenti! bel suono e bella interpretazione! 5*****

  • I'm a Evgeny Kissin follower....but you my friend have met Chopin face to face in a dream and brought him to us all with this interpretation. Your performance can only sound holier on a concert grand. Thank you for sharing it.

2:38 thru 3:40 wow, no doubt, Chopin cried writing that movement

  • Bravo!!

  • What extraordinary beauty! But while his playing has immense lyrical poetry it was deficient in the strong stormy passages. His light touch continued into his strong passage and that's not good, quite odd, actually.

  • strange, guy took alota liberty wit da beat

kinda made it... indulgent. wonder what his reasoning was

    nice playing

  • I have never heard Chopin played with such expression & feeling before. I have been deeply moved with your interpretation of this beautiful piece. What a wonderfully talented gifted & genius musician you are ! I am so jealous !

  • Very good interpretation! Close to my favorite so far (RIchter)... Anyways the very few things i didnt really like were addressed all ready. But its better to play with emotion and freely than on guidelines without emotion. However the best of the best can do both! So keep trying at it and I'm sure you will get a LOT of publicity.

  • Congratulations. This is one of the first time I can REALLY listen to the melody and passion Chopin wanted to express on the Coda part. Very good and passionate. You could improve it by creating an atmosphere of gradual tension from the beginning of the piece to the final, and stop playing chord notes as arpeggios. More time precision. You are always playing the bottom notes first than the right hand. Please don´t abuse this rerource! All the best

  • Fabulous! Great!...very moving...you have "The Gift"....by 2/3 of the way through I was transported to a different world...you played it like you wrote or even improvised t.

    Thanks!

  • You are a very very good pianist, and I enjoyed your interpretation. You gave me some ideas as I learn it as well. Congratulations for a performance well done!

  • Wonderfull !!!

    Congratulation !

  • Wow a very exciting ending!

Particularly enjoy your calmness and relaxed pace during the slower sections-- how you had taken time to place the chords and still maintain the intensity-- it makes those moments much more precious than to rush through it by playing fast.

The opening waltz is rather slow. But it's a pretty neat idea-- by starting with a slower pace, you can layer the intensity and build up the momentum more gradually.

    Bravo!!!

  • Respectful to the score and very well played.

    Congratulations!

  • It open hearts and is coming from innermost soul. So beautiful, every day it is a new great gift to hear this.... puiki dovana!!! :O) Weiter so....

  • This is the deepest, truest, most in touch with Chopin's soul, interpretation I have ever heard - every note has a musical purpose, every note is part of a greater musical whole, you are a great pianist and you deserve to be heard

  • Formidable voicing, and polyphonic clarity! Bravo.

  • just wonderful... He conveys every note clearly and we can taste Chopin's beautiful but very unique chords.

  • Gorgeous

  • greatttt

  • gorgeous voicing of the counterpoint at 3:48. very well played!

  • Woow!! congratulations!! Very nice!!! I loved your version!!! That's my all

times favorite piano piece, the truly "piano poem"... I can't stand wait to

play my own version of this piece, but I need to fix my old (90 years)

piano before... I think there isn't a note in tune.... Congratulations man,

I love to watch you play!

  • There are passages of great rhythmic sensitivity which I believe gives life to the piece - or the music, the "room".

  • Performed with great musicality and matuirty, not bombastically. I must believe that Chopin himself would have approved. Saved to Favorites.

  • Wow, the last time I saw one of your videos was when you posted Rachmaninov's Moments Musicaux. Excellent as always.

  • amazing performance it is very challenging piece you played clearly and professionaly also good camera perspective and piano.

  • Awesome musicality Vadim ! Chopin with bravura -Exceptional virtuosism and musical choices . Bravo !

    YanA yrton, young composer.

  • This Balad is exactly so played as it deserves to be played: like a loving, tender, playful and passionate embracement full of longing.

  • Wonderful music played fantastically by a great pianist.

  • This is really one of the best interpretations of this great piece which I have ever heard, and I heard really many of them during the last 50 years of my life... including some of the greatest pianists of the last century live in concerts. I am deeply impressed!

  • @op83bdur I so agree with you it is an amzing interpretation that I have to keep listening to it over and over again, he plays so amazingly well!!
