I believe "Patsy Cline" recorded this in this key of b flat, while "Jim Reeves" recorded it higher,in the key of C...Although JRs voice sounds a little drawn
on this, because of the winding down from C it`s still amazing how they managed to merge their voices together and get them at the same speed.....
What if they had been on the same record label? Supposedly Patsy Cline did consider going to RCA after her 4 Star deal ended. Whose musical backing did they use? It's likely some of the same musicians were on both sessions.
@orangehornet57 The musical backing for this track was all-new. They used only the vocal track from each of the session recordings, did a pitch change to Reeves' vocals, and then recorded instrumentals to match. That's why they're a little clearer than either vocal.
Truly a classic recording - Two great artists

Amazing what technology can do...two people that never sang together in life do so so beautifully after death. Beautiful~~~
