Elvis had received a request from the audience to sing it so it is an unrehearsed performance and it is posted on BruceEllis1964's channel.

It is impossible describing in any videos,words,pictures,etc seeing Elvis Presley live in Concert & growing up when he was alive to people who were never born or not old enough to remember experiencing him before he died. Nothing does justice to experiencing the real Original Elvis Presley not the impersonators.

I have just been listening to some of his songs when he was younger, and now listening to this it seems his voice became more powerful as he grew older. I think from all the gospel songs he has sung -and he sings them with his heart- he knew from where his blessings came.
This was thrown away as a B side and never released on a full priced album during Elvis' lifetime.
Setting that aside, this is a bit of an undiscovered gem. The vocal and simple acoustic guitar arrangement is sublime. More talent in evidence here on an obscure B side that the likes of Madonna have managed in an entire career.
This is just so beautifully sung and such a wonderfully natural interpretation, that you wonder how anyone could possibly improve on it.

To rddbba - your comment blaming priscilla for Elvis' death is very wrong. I had a long term relationship with a man a loved as dearly as I do Elvis. He even had kids to some of them - everyone but me knew what he was up to... So I know a little bit of how Priscilla must have felt. We women need the physical loving side of a relationship as well as the emotional love on offer. You need to get to grips with the real world..! elvis4eva

@swamps69 Have you read the book of Elvis and his women? The theory is that he suffered from a then unknown condition of being a twin-less twin and was trying to compensate for the feeling of loss. It does make sense. It is a good but raunchy book. But in no way disrespectful to Elvis.

this is a message for Pricilla I would have kissed this man and eaten him up from head to toe no matter what or where he went and I would have had many babies from him just that alone makes me a better woman than you. Y ou were lucky to have had his one baby and his grandchildren but don't forget you caused his death and that is a world to carry on your shoulders. I have just been listening to some of his songs when he was younger, and now listening to this it seems his voice became more powerful as he grew older. I think from all the gospel songs he has sung -and he sings them with his heart- he knew from where his blessings came.

This was thrown away as a B side and never released on a full priced album during Elvis' lifetime.
Setting that aside, this is a bit of an undiscovered gem. The vocal and simple acoustic guitar arrangement is sublime. More talent in evidence here on an obscure B side that the likes of Madonna have managed in an entire career.
This is just so beautifully sung and such a wonderfully natural interpretation, that you wonder how anyone could possibly improve on it.

that I didn't get to see the first time. I was kinda rushed through the first time and this time I want to just take my time and really think about what I'm seeing.I know it will get hot and humid there just like it does here in Alabama. I've walked outside when the humidity will take your breathe away. I can't wait to go again.

I love this song by Elvis it reminds me of how much I would love to see the sweet face in the doorway of Graceland or sitting in the music room singing and playing his piano . Oh what a sweet dream that would be. We went to Graceland in Nov 2008 and my husband bless his heart had a hard time because it was so cold. We are palanning to go in June this year and spend a couple of days in Tupelo seeing his birthplace, museum and the Church. This time I wanna spend a whole day at graceland &

An incredible ballad. When Elvis recorded this song he had just 5 more years to live and when I hear it I get the feeling that he could sense that the end was near.
