I can thank Tom Rush and his version of The Panama Limited for leading me to

this master playing the NEW Panama Limited. Several CDs and a great DVD later

I am a fan. Finally had the pleasure of seeing Doug last year in Rockford, IL, one

of his rare midwest visits. A truly magical sense of humor, and great story

teller. I believe this selection was his encore, and we all loved it. One of his

CDs lists his left foot as an instrument, and you can hear the thump!

This man is a true entertainer and a blues genius. I just saw him at the Miramonte Winery in Temecula... hope he returns soon.
