I have considered doing this. I have the money, and really not interest in joining the 9 to 5 work force, would rather die, tired, poor, and hungry, then be a slave to the economy, seeing that someone else has this much courage to take the road less traveled gives me all the confidence.

great video! glad to see others are spreading the word that people are generally more than willing to help someone in need. i hitchhiked from Nevada to Argentina about 5 years ago, and started a film company to change perceptions from a fear-based reality. amazing trip and great editing!!! excellent demonstration of the goodness of american people... a suggestion, maybe try a cut of just the trip montage with locations in subtitles, and less narrating, for the short attention spans out there.

Great video and glad you made it! I love the song and the time lapse idea. I very rarely pick up hitchers. I did the other day, a middle age (like me) fellow from Ireland. Had a nice conversation. Of course he mentioned that he had a hard time getting picked up on his trip.
