Bible thumpers in the 50's used their books to back the Racial Integrity Act and other laws against "race mongrelization," then the Loving v. Virginia case dashed those "laws" to bits. Public opinion shifted and it will again, that's inevitable. Marriage existed long before Judaism or Christianity. It irks me to see churchies acting like they have a monopoly on marriage. Marriage doesn't always need to be done in a church. Straight atheists and infertile couples can get married... =P

feels like stonewall all over again,,,, it's just soo crazy. i live in Toledo OH and they granted citizens domestic partners rights or something,,, they have a city registry for gay couples,,, but i agree it's not the same as marriage

I'm not a hater, this is simply a behavioral issue, and if it's true that you're born that way, then it's a genetic defect that needs to be removed from the human genome. I'll bet that it's possible once they figure out what really causes it.
