This was when Run-DMC, LL Cool J , Whodini, the Beastie Boys and others were hugely popular and everybody was trying to do their hip-hop version of them on TV network promos. Sounded kind of weak in how they did it--didn't pack enough attitude in the raps.
It would be replaced with the Feud! Family Fd that is!

And all but one -- "Out of This World" -- bombed.
It's also refreshing to see that Cuba Gooding Jr.'s bad acting performances aren't relegated to bad movies.
