OKAY this is easy to get if you use the ANALOG STICK! When the tutorial uses the d pad i thought we had to use it and I did it wrong at first too! :)

I can't believe how easy it is to do this though. The first time I saw this I was confused by the direction. I just saw quotes and waited to press the buttons LOL cause I thought it would look like the instructions. It's extremely useful against the Goers

I succeeded but didn't get the Jecht Shot. Is there a certain level to which you need to succeed?

I'd just like to note quickly that you will not be able to achieve the Jecht shot if you have subtitles off. During the memory sequence Jecht's taunts correspond to the location the direction arrows should be pressed; if subtitles are turned off, you cannot know which buttons to press and you will fail. Thought I'd add since I couldn't figure this out and no one seems to mention this in other walkthroughs. Good luck!

@xxbydesign OR, you can simply look for the Fuzzy sparkling purple(ish) mist that corresponds to the firection... I've played this game sub titles off, just look for the Hazzy areas and that's where it is

@Danniboy98 Depends from your plugin. You should be able to change your countrols. They are just like in normal PS2, but you have to press 2 buttons to make up-left, up-right etc.

have jecht shot 1, have anti-venom, have lvl 16 or more and its unlocked in tournament prize or such

i almost got all the key techs just need drain tackle 2 and anti-venom 2 i hate anti venom its the hardest 1 to learn

You can do this again, before Macalania or after you get Airship.
