@TheGameFilmGuruMan This will sound slightly random, but is it a good read? I was interested in getting a copy shortly after watching this. I like looking at old ideas in retrospective.
The Maginot Line was bypassed, not broken. Even the aircraft were incapable of seriously damaging the forts. It is the allied mobile forces that lost the battle. But it is true that the resources used for the line would have been better spent on French Air force that later proved too weak to stop the Luftwaffe even with RAF help.
Oddly enough, one of the stars of this film, Alexander Seversky of Republic Aviation (makers of the P-47 Thunderbolt fighter), never made a bomber, although this film advocates building a massive bomber force.
This guy went from a proud hero of Mother Russia to an extremely proud hero of America. Listen to him, he obviously knew the fallacies of Communism to be referring America, despite being an immigrant, as, "our own".
@ 0:20 I have that book!

@VersusARCH
Imagine if the French had a strong air force in 1939. World War II could have turned out very differently.

Wow, a Disney depiction of the blitzkrieg, and a bird nesting in a forgotten gun barrel on the Maginot Line. Quite a film.
