@shirleygene yeah it's a good trick. You'd have to have a horse that wouldn't freak out at someone taking a fake swing at him and not crush the rider's leg when it goes down. I've always been curious exactly how they did it.

Use a fake horse like they did in "Dancing with wolves" I've seen both the real horse (Paid 50 cents to feed him) and the plastic fiberglass- very hard to tell the difference between the two

@matrixinterface The rider bends his knee and lifts his leg back so that that doesn't happen, they also train a horse by jerking one side of the rains at that moment enough for the horse to react and fall. It's work but if the horse is smart and not stubborn he can learn it. lol
