im a soldeir in the united states army and we dont need to know how to fist fight and anyone of the street who even thought to stamd of against a soldier is stupid cause our hand to hand isnt to punch its to break limbs and necks if we allow you to get that close the average soldier can drop a target at 300 meters ( thats almost three football fields) with open sites( no scope or optic site)

This all had to be for show or blowing off some steam. I hope that their training taught them how to box! Hand to hand is one matter, but it appeared that neither man knew how to place his stance or use his torso to land a decent punch. The one that connected was because the punch was thrown as the opponent leaned into it. A person off the street with no training could have fought better than either one of them. Gentlemen, learn to defend yourselves.

We are over there to try and help them build a place of peace so that we are able to leave. If we left now, We, the United States will be discovering bombings in our own country. Talking about newspapers, just yesterday I read about Americans blowing up five civilian cars in Afghanistan. There were 43 civilians in the cars, 27 died, 4 being women and 1 child. The rest got badly wounded. So you don't kill innocent people?

Of course they are unavoidable, but when Americans knowingly drop bombs on civilians, that's bad. I said that my stepdad was a peacekeeper in Lebanon because he has told me pretty much everything that went on back there.

I can assure you that they are never ordered to kill innocent civilians. They may be ordered to bomb a building where someone is hiding, and there may be civilians around it; but they don't just say "hey, lets go kill innocent people today!". It doesn't happen. As for Lebanon's civil war, it's a completely different issue. My friend grew up there like I said, all throughout it. The wars are similar in some ways, but completely different than Afghanaland and Iraq.
