  • simple instructions: get duck tape, some window seal, some sandpaper, and yourself.

    next sand out cracked area on both sides, apply duck tape to underside of panel, put window seal in the crack, smooth it out, repeat a few times, let it dry, resmooth it out, repaint, tada simple and cheaper than this... even when your using gorilla duck tape

  • Just buy a new bumper,cheaper to do than fix them.All you have to do is prep it,prime it,paint it and clear coat it.Finally install it.Most insurance companies put a new bumper on the estimate if covered by insurance

  • does 3M make a product that would seal up cracks in my motorcycle gas tank? they're hairline cracks..and it's a 2 cycle, so there will be oil in the gas...I know I know..the smart thing to do would be replace the tank..but a new one costs about 450.00 bucks..and I cant find a used one..

  • Can this material be used to create an entire part? I'm looking for ways to build custom motorcycle fairings and i'm looking at Urethane materials because it remains semi-flexible.

    Often the subframe is bent and rarely fixed accurately. That's why I need the material to be semi-flexible and accepting of reinforceing material like fiberglass mat.

  • @Whitehorze if you buy it from 3M its kinda expensive. the whole kit itself is like 300 bucks. thats just for small applications like this.

  • @Whitehorze liquid abs is relatively cheap. you'll need to make a mold, and than after you mold you'll have a flexible piece. reinforce it with the mesh and thin layers of liquid abs.

  • This video outlines the 3M Plastic Repair process, and specifies each product (by part number). These products are available at most Automotive Paint Jobbers.

    Could you elaborate on what (more) you'd like to know?
