It would have been appropriate to have a Pentecostal minister/scholar to speak on the Spiritual aspect of the phenomenon. Here you are articulating a pure observational analysis devoid of apologetics, which could the experience, and not a mere "opiate of the masses", this downplays the experience, which is profound, and celebrates Spiritual life removed from material/earthly attachments, which can become idols, and therefore distractions from the divine.
