I still play this game. The physics in this game was the best back in those days (tire pressure, roll, breaks, gear ratio etc...) In my opinion the game's physics is still better than somewhat today's NFS series...

Ahh...Remember when we had this game on our first LAN event around 2001. It was simply pure fun! Game had even cockpit view, directional lights, warning lights and most realistic physics of the N4S series to the current date. :)

I really enjoyed this game, it was a lot more sophisticated and classier than the other need for speeds, and if you're a Porsche enthusiast it's a delight to get behind the wheel and tour through the European landscape! I had just as much fun doing the tracks with a 356, 914 and 911 as I did with the GT - series Porsches! I wish I hadn't lost the CD...

@nightcrawler511 I played this one for a period of 3 years. nfs got better and better until this one came and was the best. after this one, the quality of the nfs games series got lower and lower. underground, underground 2, most wanted, carbon, shift etc they were all too arcade for me. this one had the best tracks, the best cars (porsche) and the best gameplay.

I've tried some good driving games since this. Colin McCrae is my favourite. But all the modern graphics and realism don't match the "feel" of NFSP. I haven't played it for years, but this video took me straight back to that "feel" - the sense of speed, and the interaction with the other cars and the environment. Beautiful cars and beautiful tracks.

If there was a remake from this game, that would be awesome! The track design was excellent, imagine that with today's graphics, The gameplay was also great. Compare the track of this game's with NFSU's. NFSU's tracks was boring compared to this!

This does look 2 be 1 of the better NFS retro releases I've seen, even if the graphics aren't up 2 current next generation standards. It's a whole hell of alot better than the games I used to play on my Radio Shack-Tandy 3000 PC back in '91. I actually used to think that Test Drive 3 for that system was one of the most amazing driving simulators I'd ever seen in my life back then, LOL! and didn't even have the VGA version or a VGA monitor at that. I think it was Tandy 16 colors then, LOL!

I bought this game in 2002 lol I ran it on a 10 year old Emachines and it worked fine.

Threw my 2.2 ghz dual core with 2 gigs of RAM and a hi def 512mb Video card and it flips out on me! the guy sitting in the car flaps his arms around if I try and do anything!
