how come arena is the first game made with poor quality equipment but you can explore everywhere but on skyrim you can only explore a province with good quality equipment? why? ive got elves to kill in tamriel not just skyrim
@25hockeyfreak High Rock has already been explored, even though daggerfall messed up the technical dimensions of it. The real places they need to explore are Elsweyr, Valenwood, the mainland Morrowind, the full province of Hammerfell, Sumurset Isles, Black Marsh, and possibly a continent like Akaviri. But i dont want it to be like Arena, because there were no organized questlines other than the main quest. I prefer quality to quantity
@ExtremeReindeer Ooh that does sound good, but I now also agree with ZippyJosh85, it would be better to have it as an expansion, and call it 'the Dominion', but you'd have to do something weird to get from Skyrim to Summerset
Officially, Skyrim becomes an independent kingdom from the Cyrodiil Empire, which just remarks how weak the Empire has grown since Oblivion. It is most likely that the Empire is either near it's end or perhaps already ended by the next Elder Scrolls game.
I wouldn't want to see just one province, but maybe multiple provinces. The way the people in some quests talk, the Thalmor are being dicks and getting ready for another big war. I'd possibly like to see a game spanning multiple provinces in Tamriel, maybe Valenwood, Elsweyr, Hammerfell, and Cyrodiil, the most likely stage for a second war between the Empire and the Dominion.
That's because how Khajiit look is based on the moon phases, they call it the Lunar Lattice. They can look human, or like gigantic lions, or like the ones in Skyrim, or housecat sized.
Although technically Ohmes looked like elves, and would tattoo cat-markings on their faces and bodies to show they were Khajiit like their kinsmen.
Nicely done video. I like how you set up jumping to the different games via the old map. My only complaint concerns the walkthroughs of Oblivion and Skyrim. You must have been on the next to the lowest graphics setting for your 3D card due to the walls, objects and people looking very subpar on detail and Windhelm wasn't the best choice for a Skyrim city. Solitude or Whiterun would have been better.
@phaota I was running both Oblivion and Skyrim maxed out but at 1024x768, maybe thats the cause of that lack of quality u noticed. I cant tell, im used to it. I've been using this monitor for the last 10 years. (I cant remember if I set up FRAPS to record at half resolution also) :)
@lolking395 For those not in the know, the entire Tamriel landmass does exist in "Skyrim". More than likely, BSG will be putting out a DLC pack next year that will open it up for players, as well as populate the huge area. For how to get to the area and photos of it, search in Google "Entire Tamriel Landmass built into Skyrim". Look for the Tumblr article by PPSh-41.
@phaota That is not going to happen. Bethesda will not do that, otherwise it would not be named "Skyrim." What will happen is Bethesda will go on to make Fallout 4 which will either be out in 2013, 14, maybe even 15. Then they'll start on Elder Scrolls 6 where they'll do Elsweyr, Hammerfell, Black Marsh, Summerset Isle, who knows. Hell, TES6 might even be the whole continent. That will probably be around 2020 at the latest.
@gatordontplayson Besides, I'm pretty sure they said the next Elder Scrolls won't be on this generation of consoles, so that means Xbox 3 (720/1080), and PS4.
@gatordontplayson Did I say they were going to make another totally new game? I said a DLC pack, an add-on, more areas to explore in the huge new area. More than likely, since the landmass is already there with of the mountains, valleys, oceans, lakes, some structures, etc., all they will do is populate it with the missing features. They probably have it already done. Either that or leave it open for fans to work on.
@gatordontplayson They can. The massive area of land for all the other countries from the previous games is already available to explore, as mentioned before, it's just lacking all of the plant life, creatures, towns, cities, people and other details. BSG didn't go out of their way to make this HUGE, detailed landmass for nothing.
@phaota They wouldn't do that though. Well, maybe they would. My guess is that there's a 90% chance that it WON'T happen. It's never happened before, and I'm positive it won't happen now.
@lmchucho not after 40 video uploads. You can even 5 GB and how much you record game, movie and all. Its not limited anymore after 40 videos uploading ;-)
I think Skyrim's expansion should take place in both Elsweyr and Valenwood, seeing as how both of them together are around the same size as skyrim, it could make an interesting idea to explore them both and cross their borders.
gotta say, a full High Rock would be on the top of my list. not just the daggerfall-ish area. though I'd be happy with wherever they decide to take us next.
@BittenMitten what can i say, I live life in the fast lane. burned through skyrim too quickly i suppose. Oh and I was just answering the question in the video

Elder Scrolls VI: Summerset Isle
Storyline: Aid in rebellion against the Thalmor? Maybe the Thalmor are using some power connected to Jagar Tharn or some ancient enemy of Mankind?

I say wait a few extra years until they can render the entire continent. Why pick a Provence when you can have all of them?
