I bought this camera and its amazing .. got it for less than a t2i so t3i rocks !! upgrade from an xsi so i can see and feel the differennce also i got a sdhc 16gb class 10 ..thats important aswell and new backup battery on the way

@TechGeek95, I have the camera now in front of me.

The videos are probably amazing, but

hand held....all shaky, even if you try to keep the camera still

and the video recording stops automatically after 6 or 7 seconds because buffer full....so, cant really appreciate the video taking capabilities.

thats with SanDisk SDHC card coming with the camera.

With a Fujifil SDHC memory card its slightly better.

Also have to get used to that the pictures come out better focussed w. my Fuji Finepix 550EXR

@acguevara no it not the same as you can control the audio levels ..for video thats huge , but at the price is almost even par why wouldnt you want t3i ..wireless option as well

@ClavisqueFC It's just 30 minutes per file, limited by the card's capacity and quality. Plus, the camera gets very hot when shooting long movies, sometimes compromising video quality.

My 2Ti has been a great camera! I've used it in all sorts of shoots including very high end fashion work. I bought several high end lenses including the 17-55 f2.8 Canon EFS IS which is an awesome lens for this unit.

Mark, would you recommend using the T2i for professional shooting (model photography)? I only could afford the T2i last year, but I am still planning to get myself a 5D Mark II, but as for professional work you think a T2i would do the job until I could afford that 5D Mark II?

@Snakekilla12 Keep in mind that it´s still a crop camera. Fulframe will give you a much sharper image, you´ll notice this wen you aim for larger prints. I am doing just fine with my EOS350d to fool around, why don´t you check for an older full frame camera thats a bit cheaper than the mark II (the original d5 for example, should sell used for about the same price than a sealed T3i).

@ride5000 More pixels per square mm = more details. Obviously you should use a good lens... just as a proper analog medium format cam with a good lens will still give you more detail than any digital camera in the world. - If you spend a lot of money on EFs (crop) lenses you will loose a lot of money if you ever switch to fullfram (wich as a profesional he sooner or later will have to consider)
