Here's the reason that you are 100% WRONG. It is so obvious that I cannot believe that I have to point it out. I'll use your example of Vick vs. Reid. Try to pay attention now... Michael Vick is a convicted felon. Andy Reid has never been charged with ANY crime related to his sons. Is that simple enough for you to understand? The only reason for the NFL to get involved is because the employee was arrested and convicted. Pay attention to the facts, they are so simple!

I whole-hartedly agree, Goddell's plan holds no statutes. Having one individual's sole disgression without guidelines for crimes or for punishments can lead to very unbalanced even blatently biased decisions. I applauded Roger for trying to clean up the image of the league, but it is almost like: if you get in trouble you are praying that RG got plenty of sleep the night before, had a good breakfast, got a kiss from his wife and is in a good mood the day of sentencing.

I agree, we are beginning to see a double standard. Terry Bradshaw hit it on the head, Reid was doing whatever he could to save his children. You can not blame a parent for that. I sure would not blame my parents for all the stupid things i have done.

I don't think you can hold Andy Reid to the conduct rule in this instance. Jimmy Johnson said last week that as a coach he only saw his wife in her pajamas 6 days a week. It's hard to know what's going on in your house when you're away for road games and working from 5am to 10pm.

I really would like Goodell to explain how Wade Wilson having HGH affects the game more than Belicheat video taping the other team's defense. I could understand if Wilson was giving HGH to the players, but that wasn't the case. HGH sure as heck wasn't going to make him a better QB coach. As for Reid, I don't think he should be suspended, but he really should take some time away from football.

first of all, i didnt agree with goodells choice about wade wilson, that was ridiculous. secondly, like u said, he needs to make a decision for himself and he has, hes not stepping down. the thing i dont think people understand is, he did nothing, nothing. he didnt do the drugs, he didnt know about the drugs...i mean yea, we can criticize his parenting but i dont think we really have the right to tell him how to parent.

::Off Topic::- As excited as I am about the rest of the season I can't wait till the draft...Regardless of what Cleveland does this year, the fact that we have 2 1st round picks is crazy. The hardest part about this draft is gonna be deciding what positions we draft...anybody have any ideas?

Hey Shango what Andy Reid needs to do is back off and let someone else coach the rest of this season. Even though Reid is saying he won't resign because of football and the family issues, deep down he's hurting inside and is probably barely keeping it together. His stress level is probably so high that he'll get a heart attack if he keep this up. I and you the Cowboys fans know that his mind on Sunday won't be thinking football 100% Sunday night.

Shango you are the only person bringing this topic up. Someone in the media needs to shed more light on Any Reid's role in the illegal activities of his children. This issue is whether or not he arbored or aided them in this activity, and if so should he be reprimanded. If he did, then Reid should without a doubt be reprimanded.

BTW: I appreciate the fact that your approach to this topic is completely unbiased.

I disagree. If that were the case they would be living under their own roof & making their own way instead of suckling the teet under wing. I don't know the details as I haven't followed this story. But it seems to me if these guys had legitimate careers to occupy their lives they wouldn't have the time, or desire for all of that illegal activity.

Plus if I had had given even a hint that I was doing anything resembling what Andy's kids were doing I'd been out on the curb, & rightly so.

You don't cure that degree of negligent behavior by harboring it, so Andy bears a good portion of the guilt here just like the judge indicated in her comments. It appears to be a case of faulty parenting, but I don't hold that against Andy because it is increasingly hard to maintain career & family in today's environment.
