@EpicZantetsuken It's a fangame of Yume Nikki. If you don't know what Yume Nikki is, it is a Japanese RPGMaker game about dreams/exploration/etc. .flow is a little different, as the areas are more... dark and grotesque. All the fangames are cool nonetheless

@xDragonsound so Yume Nikki is a game making program? or a RPG that people make fan versions of? in any case, it sounds really awesome, how big of a game is .flow? just a quick hour long adventure, or something more? if it's short, i might check it out. it'd be nice if i could play it from a browser too, i don't really want to download something like...... this, onto my computer XD

@EpicZantetsuken Yume Nikki is an original game using RPG Maker. .Flow is the fan game made by different people using the same program: RPG Maker.

@genin234 ah, so i'm guessing (based upon wikipedia) that Yume Nikki is a straight-up dream game, while .Flow is a version of Yume Nikki that is darker? just wondering, sorry for all the questions XD

@EpicZantetsuken Pretty much. .Flow is just a... heavily modified version of Yume Nikki, but doesn't share any relation to each other (other than core gameplay.)

@EpicZantetsuken It doesn't really matter, this game has different controls (sort of), and since it doesn't have anything to do with Yume Nikki (other than on how the game was made) you can play either of them at any time.

The drawings are nice too, I love how you draw Sabitsuki and the Kaibutsu... and you got Smile's creepy factor right down.

I also like how you included that white world full of phone poles and blood pools, it's quite the obscure area

This is a REALLY cool song, but the snares towards the beginning just don't seem to fit with the rest of the song. Just a personal observation. If it weren't for that small detail, I'd probably put it on my iPod or something.

Omg yeeees~ At first I thought this was kind of going to suck but it just gets catchier and catchier and the animations really do a good job showing off some of the cool places in .flow without spoiling anything for anyone. Plus seeing it less grimdark is kind of a fresh spin.
