Anyone know which track this is from? (F-Zero X, GX or AX only, since they show only tracks from those games in here. How ironic for a series which rebooted in a 2D era.)

@FieraDevilWings acturally you could be right, i think since av designed aeropolis, nintendo wern't allowed to put it in the anime so they put multiplex and mute city together so the track in the anime was mute city multiplex, kinda weird isn't it?

Ok, that first scene was just disturbing. Not as much because it's a giant 200 foot tall robot, but because it's a giant 200 foot tall Transformers/Voltron/Power Rangers Ripoff.

It wasn't cool the first time, so why do they think it will be cool the 100th time? I admit the Mr. EAD head was funny however.

1 - It's just a joke, where Lucy and Clash try to convince Jody to turn their ship into a transformable robot

2 - The theme has been a solidly stablished genre since the 70's in japan and is highly succesful to this date

3 - Voltron is a lame mishmash of Golion/Dairugger, Power Rangers is a lame mishmash of Super Sentai series and Transformers, while good on it's own merit, shows inspiration from Daimos, Macross, God Mars and several others.

So... um... how DO the racers survive falling off of the track. In the games, falling means (what I believe to be) instant death accompanied by the racer exploding. Here, Ryu, Jack, Octoman, and Bio Rex fall off the course and they (and their racers) all seem relatively fine afterwards... Hm...

7:25-7:28 lol That sound effects (when Rick and Jack fell off the track) give more mayhem in this show! The same thing happened to Super Arrow when he collided with Zoda during his attempt to save Mrs Arrow in White Land.

Shucks. F-Zero GP legend rarely shows some comedy. No doubt about it this is my fav episode.

The track in this race was probably the most reminiscent of any in any game that I've seen. It's mostly the jumps and the zipper speed-boost things that make me say so.

Gotta agree with secura, it's good to see EAD win.

Finally, the new opening and closing sequences for the advert break are nice.

The track they're racing on looks very similar to F-Zero GX's Aeropolis: Multiplex course, if you ask me. Just look at the 90-degree turn, the road surrounded by dirt, the looping, the sharp right turn just before the finish line, the land mines.

And hooray for EAD's first win!

I heard the commentator say Multiplex just before the qualifying, so it is probably the same track, or at least a very similar spinn-off of it.
