  • Adriana Evans' albums "Walking With The Night"

& "El Camino" now available in the US on itunes

    & Amazon!!!!!!!!!

  • Are there any cities that were left out(Detroit,D.C)? I think of Atlanta as being a Soul City but more of a new school Soul City because it started shaping music in the late 80's through the 90's. So ATL's thing is more recent. I can see Atlanta being included in a show like this 20 years from now.

  • @CrowdPleeza

    That was later

We talking bou classic music Al green etc.

    Memphis T.N. Don't Hate

  • Hey does anyone know what song is playing when he is in Chicago at the step class?

  • It's called "On the Ocean" by K'Jon...I love that track, I wish I knew how to step to it lol

  • Strawberrygirl thank you so much.... I have been searching for this song for months. And yes I wish I knew how to step as well. LOL

  • I've watched most of the episodes, and I actually find it to pretty shallow. I mean, it's good if you're looking for a restaurants and tourist attractions. BUT if you're someone who actually KNOWS something about these music cities and their musical heritages, this show is a complete waste of time. Groups like WAR weren't mentioned during the LA show, LA-era Motown stuff was. Go figure. For the Bay area episode, Tony! Toni! Tone! was "THE" Bay area band?!? Can anyone say SLY STONE?!?

  • i agree when he went to Chicago he didn't bother to talk about Sam Cooke or the Dells

Philadelphia there was Teddy Pendergrass, The Three Degrees, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes

I agree shallow and went off the subject, and objective

i i went to see something about food than i will will watch the food netowrk channel or travel channel but don't put in my music channel

  • Great minds think alike. I don't mean to dis the brotha, but I can't figure what it is they're trying to accomplish. Is it meant to be HISTORICAL or is meant to be "Soul Cities of the last 25 years"? Are they targetting SERIOUS students of soul music or are the going after the "Generation X-er" who is all about "neo-soul" and thinks everything stops and starts with Mary J. Blige and Erykah Badu? If it's the latter, than this program might as well be on BET.

  • i know and when he went to LA i didn't get what he was trying to accomplish.

It is one thing to interview Babyface but talk to us about the musical signifigance of LA. He could've talked about Karyn White or Teena Maria they a came from LA

I am also surprised that he did not go to New York City that is also so a soul city

  • i cant watch this video

  • This is a great show... but I wish they picked someone else to host it... His speach impediment kills me!!

  • why cant i see the video
