it's long been a tradition for Hollywood stars to go overseas to Japan to make commercials secretly. even second or third rate "celebrities" like Bob Sapp can make a fortune. Arnold does Cup Noodle ads, Ewan McGregor did Aeon (english conversation school), Brad Pitt does jeans, i think. the list goes on. Hollywood movies are everywhere and walking into a Tsutaya (rental chain) is like walking into a Blockbuster's.

Yes, when ever they need money or feel like it they do, Brad Pitt has done japanese commercials and i saw a poster the other day at Docomo with Cameron Diaz, she has almost nothing to do with japan but since she is pretty and foreign its really easy to do a commercial for just about anything.

American people think that their celebrities are only known in their country. Thats totaly wrong!! Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and the others are international superstars. Thats why they do commercials in the countries where they are famous. And I dont see wny u make such a deal of somethin that seems really normal for me. Come on its not always all about america!
