@cam44123 Haha, burn out sessions at their best! You know how it goes I'm sure. Already aching before you go up. The lactic acid and fatigue. I love gyms :D
@gabebillings Now that you mention it, I have to thank you for reminding me of that fact! I tend to be hard on myself, but it is good to have people like yourself to put things into perspective. I really didn't do too bad for my fifth run.
@JokerFingerboards Haha, got any vids? I wouldn't mind seeing a recording of you, after you have done 4 other burn out sessions of upper body workouts.
@varminthunter805 I completely agree. Working yourself to failure is the best way in my opinion to get stronger! That way, you know your limits and work better to surpass them.
wow! im just a kid so all my parts are still new inside i can hit 176 holes in one try but i can only hit 53 holes backwards good job though! wish i had one in my garge i only have P.E. every other day and i love to do it i guess the ol' bench press in the basement will have to do for now
@87250xrider 176 holes!! That's really good! In one try I don't think I have gotten passed 44 holes and I noticed that I get progressively more burned out as I do burn outs. This video was my 5th consecutive run so I was kind of burned but where I have been training now I just go up and down on one large board. I will post a video soon.
@xiayu27 same with me once i do it a couple times im worn down. And anyone can do 176 holes its all in the way you think like our pegboards square and when i go around it the first time its 36 holes and when i get back to my starting point i trick myself into thinking that i didnt go around it and when you do that 4 you relize i only have 32 holes left and then its really easy from there
This isn't me..it's a friend of mine but it's his own peg board in his garage. It takes amazing strength to do it with any additional weight let alone 35kg!
@MrSuperProtein I just watched your video with you doing the peg board with 35kg. That looks intense! I do want to try but I have to find a pegboard near me to try it on. Is that a personal setup that you have there?
@marathon1974 Hah, personally I feel that I did pretty bad for my fifth consecutive pass from start to finish. I used to have more endurance than this!
@xiayu27 You did well. I used to be able to lift my own body weight very well doing that, pull ups, etc. Now I'm about 25 lbs heavier and one of the fat slobs watching. :)
i have a question, do you guys have to keep your arms bent like that, im just curious cause when id di it in highschool i just kept my arm straight to save energy, and then just used my shoulder to reach for the next pegs.
@aznstylz good question! I was doing circuit runs with focus on using only my arms and chest to move across the boards. Targeting muscle groups. This was my fourth consecutive run using just those muscle groups. When climbing, be sure to target whichever muscle groups you are aiming to work on.
@xiayu27 thanks i appreciate that. really is good to know im just starting to use um, my hangboard for rock climbing and im trying to get in shape. etc etc.
oww fuck i can feel the muscles burning through the video
